  1. Any results that increase separation between us and 3rd and below are no brainers to consider.
  2. Average pressure acts for all MFC players today, 13 each.
  3. How many more games or seasons?
  4. Also what’s with Trac and Tmac? Rarely share the ball between each other and have words occasionally. When Trac got his goal he had Tmac free in a better position in the goal square waiting for an easy over the top hand pass. Trac doesn’t like to share near goals and lets teammates know about if this they reciprocate in kind.
  5. Good point but we have the track record of derailing our season when running hot by losing to poor teams. Next two rounds are huge games. Our percentage is also vulnerable because we haven’t piled on big wins when we have had the opportunity.
  6. I don’t believe negotiations will be protracted anymore. Weid will be lucky to be offered base salary assuming he doesn’t get the chop.
  7. Both Tmac and Fritsch had poor games but both got the ball twice more than Weid, hit the scoreboard and had more tackles. Most of the side had a poor game. Weid was the only hopeless one.
  8. This guy has the chance to add a half million a year to his next contract by performing. Not made of the right stuff.
  9. Darcy Cameron after only 18 games slaughtered our defence with 4 goals and some big marks. That kid is going places unlike Weid.
  10. He will be the steak knives in any trade.
  11. No intention to slash my wrists but now I’m looking at my kitchen knives and mulling over whether to sharpen them or buy new ones.
  12. This is starting to look like round 23, 2017 again.
  13. I wish we had Mitch Brown as sub to replace you know who.
  14. Actually there were 3 game results turned by atrocious umpiring decisions this round for a total of 6 so far for the season. Adelaide/Saints - Dubious free kick to Thilthorpe at the death. North /GWS - Umpire failed to pay blatant incorrect disposal by North in front of GWS goal in the dying minutes. It has been a pattern with Riewoldt this season. In most games starts red hot then disappears.
  15. Will be a Geelong style home advantage. Almost guaranteed finals every season with a half decent list and coach and won’t have to play home finals at MCG like Geelong has too sometimes.
  16. Technicality it did look like a weak arm chop in slow motion but I don’t recall ever seeing a free paid for an arm chop applied after a player misses the first bite of the ball. Usually only paid when the arm chop spoils the first bite. In the circumstances it was a very contentious decision.
  17. Yesterdays Crows/Saints game is the fourth game result corrupted by poor late umpires decision making. That free paid to Thilthorpe in the goal square is unbelievable. There is no way that was free kick. That was the kind of spoil seen a dozens of times every game and it’s just play on.
  18. I am still puzzled why Buckley did not immediately resign. Coaching one more game appears more about him than the club. I suspect he’s banking on a spirited performance by his players to cause a huge upset so that the headlines can present him leaving with a raised middle finger to the club. Trying to gain all the attention to portray himself as a fallen hero. I hope we spoil his latest delusion of grandeur.
  19. Maggotly possible.
  20. It will be reasonable to expect some attrition come finals time. A fresh and fit AVB will be very valuable in pressure cooker finals.
  21. Tmac in doubt. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/dees-confident-mcdonald-will-play-pies-but-prepared-to-fly-him-home-20210611-p5805q.html
  22. Looks this will turn out to be another maggot flavoured game in Adelaide.
  23. Rozee very selfish again in the third quarter. Took two very poor marginal shots for goal and missed when he had options to go to.
  24. Rozee seriously good but selfish. Burned a teammate in better position to convolute his second goal.
