He was claiming his sons were producers for his production company though they are not listed on the company website. Eddie also apparently breached hub protocols during last years GF in Brisbane by partying at a night club for ‘research purposes” for hub management strategies.

Eddie McGuire sad he can’t attend GF. https://thewest.com.au/sport/afl/perth-grand-final-former-collingwood-president-eddie-mcguire-denied-entry-to-wa--c-3838803

I get the impression at least one member of the tribunal panel was trying hard to get Greene cleared. The process to find a verdict was far too long to hand out such a modest and minimal penalty given the obviousness and gravity of the offence. In the end an unholy compromise.

Certainly not taking anything for granted. I’m ignoring any consideration to getting a GF ticket at this stage because we are not there yet and COVID lockdown over here can happen any minute. There is still plenty of time to kill. All we need is one infected [censored] coming in. I have already bought a Prelim final ticket and there is no certainty fans will be able to attend. Yes we are in a good position still but I would be just as happy for the GF to be in Melbourne and being able to fly over to watch if we get there to be amongst all our home based supporters.

His average stats for the games he has played this season are around half or lower than his career averages for all indicators.

The players will be mightily [censored] off. Another week away from their families. Port get their prelim at home and no lockdown. We get lockdown plus having to play away.

Gerard Whateley and Jason Dunstall have given their verdict on AFL360. 6 weeks and 4 weeks minimum if Greene grovels on bending knees and crying.

According to World Rugby Law 6.4.A(a) "The referee is the sole judge of fact and of Law during a match." The referee is traditionally addressed as "sir", and besides the captains, all other players, coaches, and spectators should not address the referee during a match except to say "yes sir".

He and Naughton are the leaders in the coiffure stakes this season.

last 3 games, 12 tackles.

Same here, hope to get a Prelim ticket and take it from there.

I saw it and right in front of the umpire who did nothing.

Good to see a nice wet weather slog. The winner will be knackered.

CC scoring 5 goals is a warning. Hunt or Hibberd might come back in.

Last time I recall a player making umpire contact in a disrespectful, deliberate and aggressive manner was a couple of decades ago when a Bulldogs player shoved an umpire out of the way at a bounty throw in. I think but not sure it was Brad Johnson who copped 4 weeks. Toby Greene should get the same.

I’m more nervous than usual. Last week was huge emotional high. I hope we don’t come down from it.

Henderson 3 mistakes for three direct goals to Port. Cats really missing Stewart tonight.

Nick Hind has been forced out of the Bombers team because he visited a tier 2 exposure site. He can’t travel to Tasmania.

I don’t care who wins as long as they belt the living daylights out of each other.

It was obvious the relationship between Teague and Carlton had broken down a long time ago. Teague didn’t want to coach anymore but wanted his payout and both his and his managers media comments were very provocative and daring Carlton to sack him. Just like when Malthouse was sacked. Carlton sure know how to manage their coaches.
