K Sheedy at GWS D Pagan at Scumland M Blight at ST K A Joyce at Bulldogs R Walls cant remember A Jesaulenko at St K R Barrassi, One messiah success. Two failed. T Jewell cant remember J Kennedy at North True Messiahs M Malthouse, on the way to fail at scumland? L Mathews. D Parkin, had a failed stint at Fitzroy in between. A Jeans. We have have less than 30% chance of landing a true messiah. But thats better than what we have gotten for decades. A big challenge ahead.

    I heard the Lions have a huge debt. How are they going to get Roos at the big figures that are being touted for him? I am unaware of any generous benafactors or handouts from the AFL at this stage.

    If Eade got the job I could live with it. But as I said a few weeks ago he reminds of another Neale Daniher. Their records, game and development style are very similar.

    One of Voss,s other big failing was to continue to rely on a strategy based around getting the ball to an ageging Johnathon Brown at all costs. Living on past glories up there and an old boys club. Kept Voss for too long. Should have gone two years ago.

    If could get I deal like this I will be rapt. These guys are still young but over growing pains. We can't afford to develop midfielders fron scratch at the moment no matter how highly rated in the draft. Viney and Toumpas still have a long way to go. This is the proverbial bird in the hand rather than two in the bush.

    The worst season ever? Well this should be good news if true. Things must then get better. Last I recall we are still the MFC.

    My rule of thumb. An inexperienced coach given our fractured state has 20% chance of success. 40% chance of keeping the wolf away from the door for the next messiah,........and 40% chance of turning us into the new Tasmania franchise.
