In the end we had 3 to 1 inside 50 and well in front of the pushing back defenders when Salem marked.

I thought he was very biased for us in the final throes of Sunday's game. Not that I minded. The way he was talking he sounded like he was coaching us from the commentary box. He was still talking us up for a win as the ball was sailing deep into Essendon's forward pocket before our final thrust. He must hate Essendon.

I believe Sylvia can be of value for Freo. I would not depend on him to be a great all season player but can put together a good string of six to eight games if he is interested enough. Might be a wildcard or X factor for the finals.

Had one good moment early in the last quarter where he skillfully held on to the ball to set up a player running past that opened up the Richmond defence for an easy Freo goal. Other than that had trouble getting into the game. Looked a bit rusty.
