  1. The only problem I have with him the moment is the lack of his signature on the contract waiting for him at head office.
  2. Tried to play like we finished off last week. We are not up to playing an attacking game for 4 quarters. Premature experiment. Haven't got the clean slick game yet. Roos is trying to wean us off the ultra defensive game. Time is not right but had to see where we are at. Does this means Frawley stays since he went back to defence? I think not.
  3. What irks me is that if we win, that cheating scumbag side may creep into the eight thanks to us. If we win we go to 5 and 8 with an outside chance of finals hopes, so a must win for us. Best scenario is we win small so North's percentage does not go down enough for this to happen.
  4. Did Buckley have blood on his hands?
  5. If they know you post here then I doubt players tell you anything useful. The party line from a to z your ears hear.
  6. I notice Justice Middleton is hearing Essendon's case. I wonder if he is related to late actor Charles Middleton AKA Ming the Merciless.
  7. i can't read the link but they might have a case for all the pain and suffering we passed over to them.
  8. A million and one scenarios could be argued and the ball deep in their forward pocket is an ideal place for it to be for them with a minute left. We don't want to devalue the great work starting from Vince, Pederson and everyone else down the line.
  9. Obviously Essendon don't believe in the principle of stacking the backline when protecting a one kick lead with a minute to go. There were only two defenders inside defensive 50 when McDonald started his run to square up the ball. In the end we had 3 to 1 inside 50 and well in front of the pushing back defenders when Salem marked.
  10. I thought he was very biased for us in the final throes of Sunday's game. Not that I minded. The way he was talking he sounded like he was coaching us from the commentary box. He was still talking us up for a win as the ball was sailing deep into Essendon's forward pocket before our final thrust. He must hate Essendon.
  11. And not one error or hesitation in the entire passage of play.
  12. He mast have been referring to Clark Kent.
  13. Dunn's current form is staring to remind me of Glen Jakovich.
  14. Like I said before. Win the bloody clearances. Thanks guys.
  15. We need better work from clearances. If Jones gets it, it goes no where. If he doesn't get it Essendon clear.
  16. FUUUCKING MISSED OPPORTUNITIES. Scared rabbits in front of goal.
  17. I believe Sylvia can be of value for Freo. I would not depend on him to be a great all season player but can put together a good string of six to eight games if he is interested enough. Might be a wildcard or X factor for the finals.
  18. Had one good moment early in the last quarter where he skillfully held on to the ball to set up a player running past that opened up the Richmond defence for an easy Freo goal. Other than that had trouble getting into the game. Looked a bit rusty.
  19. Kyle Reimers according to The Age is one of very few players who have not yet received a Show Cause Notice. Could he be a major weapon for ASADA?
  20. If she gets personal its because she is referring the the real culprits for whatever she's writing about.
  21. All I can say is don't dismiss anything she says without trying to think about it first. May be hard for some. Especially those with agendas or locked in prejudices
  22. I worked for the old Herald and Sporting Globe in the old days so I understand how the better journalists work. She is very clever telling things like they are and dodging law suits. People should carefully read between the lines to what she writes. There is a hell of a lot of truth there.
  23. He left the club in unhappy circumstances around the time this drug issue blew up and said a few words.
  24. If I were looking from a neutral POV I don't blame their tactics. They are backed up to a solid bluestone wall and arguably their survival is as stake. I really don't want them to go under. I just wish a sensible compromise could be worked out. This is where Hird and his cronies MUST fall on their sword. A stand alone competition like the AFL needs Essendon. Still the ball is in their court and their fate is governed by those prickks who won't accept responsibility.
