  1. Asking for a lot there given the feisty forwards we have now. The request has been made adnauseum for a long time.
  2. Nothing like a good spread topped off by a fiver.
  3. Speaking of forwards when was the last time one of ours kicked five or more? I know Hogan had a few big bags but that's a while ago now.
  4. Does it make any difference? We can't win at the MCG anyway.
  5. Well you have to wait for lunch. If peckish, one could eat the skin also. Add a dash of salt and cut up with knife and fork into neat strips.
  6. This is our kind of airline. Forget about China Southern. http://www.traveller.com.au/plane-passenger-orders-special-gluten-free-meal-on-ana-flight-and-is-given-a-banana-gw3gsq
  7. I hope the crows play like they are stoned.
  8. Two Grimes and a half dozen Lamumba's do not equal a Hibberd.
  9. I remember watching him play in his Essendon days. He was the defender who stood out the most other than Hurley. His kicking was amongst the best in the AFL. Glad he still has the touch. Surprised Essendon let him go so easily.
  10. Hird and the Colombian connection. http://www.theage.com.au/sport/reclusive-james-hird-spruiks-his-cacao-hunters-australia-chocolate-on-gay-and-lesbian-radio-20170422-gvq91b.html
  11. Thompson must know a lot what has happened at his club and at other clubs as well. Same as Dank, Hird etc. A lot of this has to do with being caught whilst others have gotten away with it. They are mightily [censored] off that they may be the scapegoated and made examples of. Problem is they can't say more without incriminating themselves and perhaps other clubs (Geelong, GC?) and paying a much higher price be it admitting a crime, being sued and further trashing their dodgy reputations. Thompson also has a couple of flags to protect.
  12. It's just amazing, Dank, Hird, Thompson and others all know the truth and want it out but just can't seem to articulate it. It must be a terrible burden the verbal paralysis holding it all in against their will.
  13. The year we got Watts we also missed some great opportunities further down. We dudded with Bleese, Strauss and Bennell. We could have had Ballantyne, Shuey, D Beames, Sloane, M Walters, Zaharakis and Hannebery and a stack of other current good players. All these players came after Strauss and Bleese. We did get lucky with Jetta at pick 51.
  14. Those match ups 1-5 make me wince. Watts and NicNat would be at least a draw. The others 100 point thrashings.
  15. This thread is getting woefully off track. Time to pass this debate over to the St Kilda supporters forum. They still have a lot hand wringing to do.
  16. Maybe Hun scribe James Hird will finally start telling the truth? About what happened at other clubs of course.
  17. The few Collingwood supporters who still think we are rivals all live in nursing homes with advanced dementia and colostomy bags.
  18. Now it will be Hird the shock jock for the next decade or so. A cornucopia of bile and fake news coming.
  19. Hird is back in the mainstream and feeling better. A couple of years ago I said after all this is over he could only get a job at the Murdoch Hun. And now he has a job with News Corp. Surprise surprise! Best of luck. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/james-hird-says-overdose-the-result-of-years-of-continual-stress-20170316-gv00i6
  20. If any bullying occurred it was from Team Hird. He was threatening to sue left right and centre aside from the legal challenges he undertook. There were vicious attacks from his wife and media supporters and timed leaks to embarrass ASADA, the AFL and others. He also made vicious attacks against Demetriou who rightly or wrongly may have been trying to help Essendon from the beginning. And he admitted he took enducements throughout the whole process. Some would say this is akin to a form of blackmail. If I was on the other side of Team Hird during this ugly saga I would have been very nervous and intimidated by all his attacks. Remember the vicious attacks on ASADA chief then Ms Andruska.
  21. Jobe lamenting the loss of his medal for going down to St James Infirmary for his jabs.
  22. I am sure the medals notoriety will give it a considerable monetary value after it is found inside one of Jobe's old boots when he is about 65. A handy addition to his super. Might even be worth more than a legit one.
  23. Not really. Rule applies to everything where power, money, ego and influence is at stake.
