  1. Smiling on the field ! Outrageous! Before you know it we'll people daring to attempt humour on Demonland!
  2. I love the way Dawes runs to get a kick. However, all too often, he gets the ball too far out. We need to get forward quicker and more efficiently. If we could get the ball in his hands inside 50 he is more likely to do some scoreboard damage.
  3. A handful of chemicals from the pool shop should sort it.
  4. Thanks WJ!! I just watched that most moving performance by a young and idealistic Joan Baez.
  5. Is that Sambo and his twin or Sambo and his best friend (ie a mirror) ?
  6. That looks like my cousin song! Did you get his permission to post that clip?
  7. Not so much OD. After his second (IMO) [censored] poor game I thought Jack would get a holiday - although I didn't post this. Then Roos came out and said (words to the effect) that Jack wasn't the major issue. That made it clear that Jack would play. I don't understand this, but I'm not going to question PR - obviously. However, I reckon he needs to put in a blinder this week!
  8. Just had a look through this thread. Did Stuie put you up to this Sambo? And then you recruited Autocol? Surely you couldn't have come up with such stupidity one your own? It must be a joke - surely. Anyway if you are fair dinkum having a crack at me, then I feel appropriately chastened and truly regretful. After all that soggy lettuce leaf attack really stung! BTW Sambo could you please enlighten me about "the good old days" since you joined this august board on 25/7/13.
  9. Sensible post Dinger. FMD if you are frightened of speaking your mind or being challenged on an anonymous forum then - you had better get over it.
  10. No one would have got the message had I said "bash your alpacas once a fortnight" !
  11. Thanks Rod good info. Do you happen to know if Spencer did any training at all?
  12. Stick to the grunts, groans, aaaahhs and "don't stop" of the bluerinsers DC.
  13. They don't call him Eddie everywhere for nothing.
  14. Best leave it at that RTG. It is, however, a salutary example of what happens when people try to rise above their social station.
  15. The bottom of a pack. A front on tackle. A contested mark. A gut run........
  16. Biffen is very vindictive RTG. He actually sniped an invite to a posh polo even at Werribee Mansions. Unfortunately, he cut loose on the free pizz, groped a couple of socialites and got turfed out. He has managed to transfer the blame for this sordid affair onto polo players in general.
  17. Cool down guys. As Caro (over whom I have fantasies) pointed out the other day, Eddie Everywhere is the main man. He calls the shots and everyone else falls into line. Forget this goose.
  18. Post 10318 above. One of Biffen's more subtle and esoteric efforts.
  19. Well anus you'd have to admit there is something rather compelling in the thought of winning more games. I suppose you can say we're now getting flogged by smaller margins and see that as an improvement. But it doesn't really do it for me. A bit like saying I'm a better man because I only bash my wife once a fortnight.
  20. Buy her a new (bike, barbie doll .... ) whatever she wants!
  21. Just had a quick scan over this thread. ATM, I'm slurping a particularly decent shiraz so I may have missed something. BUT. Did I really read Dawes position in the side being questioned? If so - you've gotta be effing kidding! ( or you are slurping something even better than me)
  22. Being buggered senseless makes a man of you!!
  23. ENYAW if you're online, could you please translate the above for me?
  24. Biffen is particularly [censored] at the moment OD because some of his financial interests have been jeopardized by .... er ... good policing. ( see today's Hun)
