DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - ROUND 4
Bitter but optimistic replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nathan Jones (This bloke deserves a Brownlow) Frawley (Best game I've seen him play in about 3 years) Spencer (Best game I've seen him play) Grimes ( Don't knock him - Captain's game) Viney (Provides grunt) Mc Donald ( Better and better) -
Just home. Let me say HOW [censored] SWEET WAS THAT?
-
I'm just about to head off. I've backed off on the punt a bit but I still put 20 on the Dees.
-
I imagine squeezing 1800 teats a day keeps you fit jazz ?
-
A few years ago we were playing an away game against Hawthorn. They were kicking the bejeesus out of us. A Hawthorn [censored] in front of me said to her daughter, " I feel sorry for Melbourne, they haven't got anything". How [censored] weak are we? Winning games is one thing but showing a bit of heart is another.

Perhaps he's read some of your posts Moon!!
-
Good footy teams do both. The "sniping" doesn't mean king hitting - it means intimidation, aggression and an if you mess with me you mess with all of us attitude.
-
Delete that post will you DC! If the "lads" see it they will want to go. After they have splattered every miserable little green snotball Fl ogs in Romsey, that is.
-
I get the lads to stomp the [censored] out them.
-
Before you Loonie, I suspect.
-
Take Fl og and keep him will you Chip?
-
Lunching with Biffen is quite perilous Col!
-
Maybe scooter and scat.
-
I am trying to visualise Biffen and his similarly uncultured cohort at the Gat, sipping Banana Daiquiris.
-
Well said Jazz. About time Biffen is held accountable for his years of exploitation and immoral behaviour.

I'm with you on this Byron. I intend having another lash (so to speak). I started the punt well this year with a good collect on the Cats but it's all turned to shite since. -
Port Adelaide passes 50,000 members

True, and I suspect the original Port would have had a shiteload of fanatical members. A good starting point. -

Makes no difference to Biff. -
Agreed! Dawes is a big plus . Just hope he gets thru. Spencer has a fantastic tank and I like Jordy for his desperation

Figures, You do one while dreaming about the other!! -
This is really a worry. As you say we don't know if it is true ..BUT .... maybe Frawley is tired of losing .... maybe TMac is tired of losing ................... maybe ??????????? is tired of losing. The world has changed. In the "old days" the opportunities to switch clubs were not there BUT , in any case, could you imagine blokes like Kevin Murray, Bobby Skilton, Ted Whitten changing clubs. They were champs. So not only has the world changed but so have values like loyalty, team allegiance and sticking tough. It really is only the poor silly supporters that do these things.

Not sure he is strong enough for the full gig in wet conditions. -
That is an unfair post Biffen!!! My sweaters and slacks are quite spiffy.
