It’s looking like this might be his play. Get the club to want him gone so they are prepared to take less to be rid of the problem. This time last year I thought he would be our next Captain. Now I have a very different opinion of our CP5, whether he stays or goes.

Great stuff, Max is up there with Robbie for mine as a great player, Captain and loyal Clubman. In my opinion Max would retire rather than be a list clogger, as he is a club first guy if he thought he was done before his contract ran out. As for George singing other clubs’ theme songs.
