  1. I wonder if Freo have convinced Neale to stay. Just a thought.

Only way he would ever become a Saint.
  3. Ablett was instrumental in getting the GFC it’s long awaited premiership. Son of a club legend. Everything you say about Melbourne being a rabble at the time $cully was at the club would be most certainly true. Also his standards for training would be the same however.... A lot of us on this site are questioning him as a human being not a footballer. Liars are not my favourite kind of people. As for “supporters that really have half a brain” I would instead say many of them have honesty and loyalty as a standard in their lives. EG: We love our club. Yes Clarko is the smartest and the best coach going around, but on this occasion for me, he is welcome to the $culldog.
  4. One more time with feeling.

    Love your work Red!

I don’t think many are laughing. Agreed he will have a much better chance of a flag at Hawthorn. From a personal point of view I hope he doesn’t get one. As for some suggesting he comes back to the Dee’s ? there are other outside runners we can Aquire. I would add that I rarely feel this way about anyone.

Says everything about his character. Also the reason your long running thread is still going strong ?

Very mercenary by him. I would put money on the fact he cannot see a premiership at his fractured and “beloved GWS” so run off to Whorethorn to try and get one before Father Time catches him. Little turd. ? for continued lack of success. Lying to a dying man ?
  9. Great post. Thanks for the loyal service Dom.
  10. Yes because Freo don’t want the chocolates, so the conversation has moved on to biscuits
  11. Awesome news. His hardness during the finals was a sight to behold.
  12. Fabulous. Roos now PJ, the guys that stopped the ship from sinking. Quodos to Demonland for getting a chance to hear from their perspective what the club was like at take over time and beyond. I listened to PJ’s speech at the B&F via the live stream while in Singapore and you could see the emotion coming through regarding his feelings for the club. My question would be: did he ever feel daunted with the task at hand in the early stages after he took over the postion? A monumental challenge to be sure. I remember being at a game at Etihad just after PJ took on the role, and we were playing a “home game” there against North. The Dee’s were getting flogged and I said to my mate who I attend games with that I was going home to mow the lawn, as it would be more entertaining than watching this rubbish. (Sorry but it was an emotional time getting flogged week in and week out was taking its toll) my mate said to me as I was leaving, do your realise that’s the new CEO sitting in front of us. I said no and I hoped he heard what I said. To go from that moment to watching the crowd at the “G” after the win in the Elimination final against the Cats was a moment to be savoured, and I reflected on where we had come from and where we had got to under Jackson’s leadership. I will always be so so thankful.
  13. Picking the Suns would be like choosing your plot at a cemetery.
  14. Ask him does he want to be at a club rebuilding from the ashes again. This time with Ross not Roos.....
  15. I am in Bali. Should I try and find him and get an answer if he is going or staying? ? ?
  16. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-10-08/wantaway-rory-wants-to-lob-with-the-dockers Would not think Lobb will come cheap, even with the need for salary cap relief for GWS. It will be interesting to see how Freo can trade in Hogan as well.
  17. Agreed. I am on my way to the game and am not looking forward to barracking for team that knocked us out of the finals. Support the Pies for the day, no way. Came out in the MCC ballot so may as well make use of my $695 a year membership. Go Eagles ???
  18. After the club has supported him through all the terrible things he has gone through in the last few years it’s the right thing to do for the club and his playing mates at it if he decides to leave.
  19. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-24/mcgovern-lewis-offered-fines-for-misconduct McGovern fined for the Viney throat punch but no reversal of free kick by the umpire on the day . Sucks.
  20. I will be at the game. Eagles for me. Then ✈️ To Singapore Sunday and I am very happy to be away from the post GF week news hyperbole. If the Pies win it would be unbearable for weeks in Melbourne. Especially at work. Got some bucket list things to do on my trip which I can control. The bucket list wish for an MFC premiership is out of my hands but hopefully we all get that one in the not to distant future. Cheers all.
  21. Try disappointed. If your happy with today’s result there are medications available for the affliction. We have had a great ride for the last 5 weeks. Today no. For the living life goes on.
  22. They are the Tigers of old every time they play it’s in their theme song. They had a shocker and played Dusty who was not fit to be out there. Today we played like we did against the Hawks and Pies in the home and away season. Smashed around the ball then we panick and our game plan falls apart. I also think the players were cooked. Life goes on.
