He's been in the system for 4 years, the first 2 as a rookie. Due mainly to injuries, he has played just 16 games, the last occurring just as he was starting to show some real form and consistency. Since his return this year he has been steadily improving and it would seem by all reports that he is really taking to the Neeld training regime and starting to show results. I believe we should persevere with him.
As much as I would like to visit that part of the world (really want to get to Iceland one day), it should be noted that Sweden has one of the highest suicide rates in the world...guess that fits with your description OD.
Wheels, Davey, Jetta, et al say hello (and Bennell didn't exactly walk out on the club, so I'm not sure why you listed him)...and how many non-indigenous players have walked out on the club?

We will keep these kids because, despite our on-field performances, this year has seen a seismic shift in our culture which is going to manifest itself through the pre-season and hopefully bear fruit in season 2013. We will become a club that kids wish to remain with, particularly now that we have recruited players with premiership/finals experience and who have proven leadership ability.
