I thought that too and checked his stats. Yep, he did play 131 games with Freo. BUT we got the best of him didn't we? That Collingwood game had to be seen to be believed.

POLL: Watts v Naitanui ... Did we get it right or wrong?
Bobby McKenzie replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
Maybe the fact that you have contributed so many replies would account for the large number received. Guess I could build up a few pages if I started a topic and kept on replying to myself. You have made a large % of those posts RR.(45 RR posts = 18%). -

Looks like Leigh got it wrong on two counts. -

Beat me to it Stuie. He has a very low possession count for a STAR player. Not quite up to Ablett and a few hundred others. RR certainly has an obsession with NN. Pity he wouldn't concentrate on the likes of Jeremy Howe. Now there IS a real STAR of the future. -

Yes I noted that too. RR trying to influence the voters with two very different photos. Could have at least had Wattsy taking one of his best marks. A very biased poll introduction indeed. NN could be a relative? -

Shows just how much they are influenced by someone who can leap high in the air doesn't it? 17 possessions for 1 goal 3 is hardly brilliant football is it? Surely Priddis and Kerr were much more valuable. And it is just ONE game. You didn't raise this topic after Nic's effort against Port last week with just 9 possessions. -

Gee, RR your love affair with Nic Nat is becoming embarrassing. Change the needle mate. Sure he took a couple of grabs this week but last week NOT ONE MARK!( and a measly 9 possessions). Check for yourself if you don't believe me. As I've said Watts is a FOOTBALLER, Nic is an ATHLETE. -
I went to the MCG yesterday and liked what I saw...

Yes, Robbie Flower plus other greats like Geoff Tunbridge, Barrie Vagg, Bob McKenzie, Warren Dean, Stan Alves, Ian Ridley, Ian McLean, Travis Johnstone, James McDonald, Adem Yze, Cameron Bruce, Aaron Davey, Brian Dixon and Sean Wight. I'm sure that there are many others that I have overlooked. No, you don't have to be a tree trunk to play footy. You need skill and ability. PS Don't try and tell me the oldies I have mentioned didn't have the physical pressure to contend with. It was rough and tumble in the old days. -
Went to Bomberblitz and felt certain I was looking at Demonland!

Really pleased! Like others I was concerned that Sam may have been looking to another club such as GWS. Now I can see my prediction that Sam will become another Bluey Adams come to fruition. He's a real talent that's for sure. Some good news for a change.

And Shuey!

Ditto.

At least it will be in SEPTEMBER!!!! It is always a team's ambition to still be playing in this month.

It's been a while now since his unfortunate injury. Does anyone know how he is going such as can he walk without the moonboot etc? I really hope his injury is not a career finishing one. But, knowing the luck of the MFC it could be. Gee, I'm a pessimist!
-
Yes, GWS has the mighty Tom $cully who collected a total of 12 possessions against the Dockers today. How are you feeling Sheeds?
-
You have summed up his career very well 'UTAH'. Sadly, he is a bit of a whipping boy for some on this forum. Not me however as I like his persistence and gutsy play. Have a good one tomorrow Matty.

Yes, it seems to have been 2 to 4 weeks for about 6 weeks. What is going on?
-
Sorry Sloonie.

Well done 'TheoX'. Yes, I am jesting. I reckon I was taken a bit too seriously by some. Sure, it's all right to smile AFTER the game. My silly post was in response to a couple of SERIOUS posters who did not appreciate Col. smiling after one of bad defeats a few weeks ago.

Once again I saw Colin Sylvia talking and SMILING with an opponent after the Brisbane loss. This is just not on and he should be dropped for a least 4 matches. What do others think?
-
I remember it all too well JJ. What a wonderful experience our young posters are in for ONE day. Sooner better than later!!! Regarding the reserves, was that the one where the Melbourne player kicked the winning goal from a set shot after the siren? We had been trailing all day. Was his name Rickard or something like that?
-
I really thought Martin was our best today. He looked composed with good rucking and good disposal.Never looked 'lost' for a moment.
-
Yes, very harsh on young Spencer. Give the kid a chance! Gee, am I glad our selectors aren't as short sighted as Grandson of a Gun.
