  1. 6 Hibberd I know we are blinded by possessions but he had a great game 5 Viney 4 Trac 3 oliver 2 Riv 1 Petty was on track for a complete breakout and to prove me wrong.
  2. Thanks for the considered responses on Petty. Happy to be proved wrong at the moment I think we are below where we should be at both ends of the ground. If we get it right we will be very hard to beat.
  3. I am open to trusting the coaches but can anyone tell me what Goody sees in Petty down forward? He can mark and link but he is yet to actually perform the main role of a forward to kick some goals! I am convinced our backline will be better if he is down there, I really hope I am wrong.

May have been answered elsewhere but where can you read the AFL rules?
  5. Wonderful news, loved his comments. A joy to watch.
  6. This will not be an easy game. Watched some of their game against the Richmond yesterday and they clearly looked the better team. We should go in with our best team and take it seriously.
  7. Good news. Just has kept trying and improving.
  8. Special CHB training?
  9. He has a lot to play for and I hope he has been listening to Goody. Whilst you dont see it on TV what he does off the ball and after the drop will be important.

Saw this good article on Hibbo today. You can see the sentiments he expressed in the article in his actions every time he takes the field. Really hope he sees out this year in style. The stars a Tassie team could target; decision time for Demon; in-demand forward focuses on recovery
  11. I trust in Taylor. Hope we bear in mind that with a Tassie team in say 3 years. we need to top up our young talent now to get through the compromised tassie draft years.
  12. I am not a fan of rotation unless its one only. If someone is injured they go out but otherwise we have a run of games where we might be able to run ourselves into some (sorely lacking) form. we really need to cement our structure and game. We have been poor up forward and that needs to be solved. I dont like Petty forward but Goody seems set on it. I think May would benefit from having Petty back and unless injured should play himself into form. North are not to be taken lightly.
  13. 6. Grundy 5. Oliver 4. Viney 3. TMac 2. Trac 1. Rivers

Agree with that, I think my point is that Moore seems able to get back and anticipate whilst the others are struggling to do so but I accept its an exaggeration on my part. I think my point is their gameplan is not built on defence first. Clearly there is way to disrupt how they like to play.

I am no expert but will venture a couple of observations. The Wobbles were caught out on the counter with no players able to get back quickly. Their defence is not very good with really only one quality back, Moore. The Bears seemed to take the corridor away either by matching numbers or blocking the area. Compared to other games they seemed o be forced around the boundaries more than other games. And yes Daicos should have ben reported for staging and did shirk a couple of times. I hope Harmes is available when we play them or at least Viney that will sort him out. He needs clean space, clarry on the other hand works in the middle often with several hanging off him.
  16. Good thoughts altough I tought Hibbo was really good for us and if he plays like that injury aside deserves his place, it is possible Viney still has some knee issues but who is Captain if he is out?
  17. Pickett comes in but its not a like for like if he simply replaces Brown and a back injury to Brown is not going to be helped with a flight to Perth. I thought Petty was good down front but not exceptional so I don't think he is a lock there. I would consider bringing in TMac for Brown. Question is how did TMac go at Casey? Melksham has been also ok when subbed on but I think he is an out putting Sparrow on the pine. If Hibbo has achilles soreness then someone has to come in for him rather than risk an early aggravation against the eagles. Does Petty go back? However we need to be careful to recognise it was the run and carry of the eagles that kept them in the game yesterday including Jaydent Hunt's run off half back. It is absolutely true this year if you are off 5% any team can beat you this year. I would not want to be a selector although they did a good job this week.

6 Oliver 5 Grundy 4 Langdon 3 Lever 2 May 1. Rivers and JVR plays again next week unlucky not to get a vote. Loved Hibberds return.
  19. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Pickett 3. Tomlinson 2. Lever 1. Chandler
  20. I hope Thommo doesn't read this thread, until his knee he was terrific for us and after I fear confidence (and lost agility to a lesser extent) is the issue. I hope Goodwin has told him "cometh the hour cometh the man".
  21. Someone is still scarred...
  22. Thanks for the reports guys, fantastic. and lets get you some fuschia or red and blue one eyed glasses.
  23. Out of interest what did he have to say about Oliver, Kozzi and that Freemantle player when we picked them? The whole rating of pick performance is pretty silly given you cant know for a couple of years, sure you can rate the ability to trade into better positions etc but not the actual outcome, its just daft to pretend you can.
  24. Jeepers, they needed a mercy rule in that game.
  25. Looks well developed in the photo above, have we pulled a shifty here?
