Farewell Jesse Hogan
Well that’s that then. He’s gone.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Anyone who thinks Hogan is worth anything less than two first round picks has NFI.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
No....hence entering negative territory.

Farewell Dom Tyson
That’s quite funny that someone actually called up to correct Dal Santo about Tyson’s disposal. I don’t know why anyone could be bothered but I’m glad that they can. I like Dom as an inside mid but this media myth about him being a lovely kick is maddening. BT often describes him as one of the best kicks in the side when it’s the exact opposite.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
If Hogan stays then Luke Darcy loses credibility. Which would mean he enters negative credibility. Also known as the Greg Denham Zone.

Farewell Dean Kent
Only on a club forum would you see serious suggestions of a second round pick for a player like Kent. La la land stuff. If we get offered a third round pick we should take it and run. Pick 60 or thereabouts is his worth, particularly with his injury history. That’s not to say he doesn’t have upside and could turn out to be a great pick up for the Saints, but he remains a gamble.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
Has been a great servant for the club. Never dropped his bundle and gave it his all no matter the level he played at. Can leave with his head held high. Turned out to be a better trade than Dawesy. #pedofacts

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
This sums it up for me, although I’d say 7/10. It was one game. Yes, he was beyond putrid yesterday, but it’s one game. When we are playing well as a team and have ascendency in the middle, he steadies the ship at the back. Would anyone really dispute him playing an important role in the Semi? He will again be useful to that end next season. Which will be his last.

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
Bottom six in descending order would be Vanders, Nibbler, Hannan, Weed, Spargo and JKH. That group would compare well with most other sides in the top 8. With the way he’s playing I think he’d be in the top six. It’s not underselling his performance against us last time to say it was Carey-esque. Stop him and Danger and we win the game.

Bernie Vince Retires
Man, that is actually a bummer. BnF winner at two clubs is an amazing achievement of which he should be very proud. Thanks Bernie. Fantastic servant and will always be fondly remembered.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
I’ll continue to hang my hat on the early call to draft Hibbo, and tell anyone who will listen about it, but I made a proper meal of this one. I knew he had skills but the form line over a two year period just wasn’t there for me. In retrospect perhaps it was him being shuffled around position wise that was to his detriment. Along with the whole playing for a drug cheating shammozle thing. Predicting he’d be a good pick up is one thing but it would’ve taken a serious optimist to foresee the player he is right now.

Mark Neeld
I think we’ve all moved on from this era but I find the following absolutely staggering: ”However Neeld conceded that in hindsight factors such age, experience, potential and future capabilities could have been included in the criteria upon which leaders were chosen.” He needed hindsight for this? Really? Anyhow, wish him all the best.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Well that was a big load of nothing. No explanation as to why, other than Freo needing him. Stick to car raffles, Boomer.

We need to start getting in the ear of these young dejected Carlton supporters. If you see a sad looking kid wearing a Carlton scarf, hand him a finals pamphlet and ask him if he’s discovered Gawny yet.

It’s P-man ? I’m aware. We’ve run with Pedo as a nickname for a while now. Bit late to be calling in the nickname police.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I wouldn’t underestimate the impact he had today. He was a team lifter. Used it really smartly and finished off the hard work early when others couldn’t. Like Fritzel he’s looking an excellent pick up

Angus Brayshaw
I recall some comments from Goodwin recently which suggested he rates Gus very, very highly as a player. I’m surprised he hasn’t been named this week, but not overly concerned. He’ll be back soon enough.

Seems likely mate. At least up until reports of houses coming down on the training track.
