I’m a believer. He wasn’t great on Sunday but I’m of the school of thought that it takes more than a week for some players to readjust and I believe he’ll be better this week. He generally isnt afforded second chances so Weed is a definite chance to come in but for me he’s too much of a risk.

I actually wouldn’t mind this. I’ve only included Kent for Spargo as the youngster looks like he’s running of petrol tickets. Slower in mind and body on the weekend.

I wouldn’t be picking Weed with so much at stake. Completely unproven at AFL level. Pedo can get it done. In: Hibberd, Melksham, Kent Out: Hunt, Hogan, Spargo

I don’t care if we finish in the 8 via the sale of magic beans. I just want us to play finals. Feels like reaching for the stars.

There’s something enormously satisfying about Geelong losing.

It’s shameful that we lost to the Saints. Talk about coughing up four points. They are an appalling side.

Then went on to speak about the need to cut down Buddy’s leading space and nullify his athleticism. Not a single, solitary mention of Frost. Can the bar for footy analysis actually get any lower?

Oliver is clearly becoming a victim of his own high standards. He was BOG by a mile.

Props to Salem who is quietly becoming one of our best players. 26 disposals at 92% efficiency. 11 score involvements second only to Hogan and Oliver. There are some players I get nervous about when the ball is in their vicinity. He isn’t one of them.

A sloppy 96 point win if such a thing exists. I’m already thinking about next week and I suspect some of the players were too. Bag the percentage and onto the Swans.

Smith was probably playing his best game today. Typical Melbourne.
