They legit just booed the goal umpire who called for a review after being knocked down in the contest. What a bunch of utter peanuts.

Is Vanders our best so far? What a game he’s playing.

Vanders essentially punished for being a battering ram.

    Someone hold me.
  15. That would be the ultimate test. All the more reason we need to win today.

I honestly don’t know which way this one will go. It would be typical Melbourne to roll over and leave it all down to the final round, but I can’t shake the feeling we just might get the job done today. Hope can drive a man insane? Indeed it can, Morgan.
  17. Those stats make for horrendous reading, although Corey Wagner yet again seemed to rise above. Must be a serious shot for a spot on the list next season.
  18. At the risk of being a stickler for detail, Geelong will finish on 13 wins, not 14. Meaning that one win regardless of what happens should be enough to see us through because of our percentage. Port would’ve had to win both games and Geelong would’ve had to absolutely annihilate their remaining opponents to overtake us on percentage and push us out. Which granted judging by today is a possibility but unlikely. All moot given Port have lost today. One more win and we are through along with Geelong. North can’t make up enough ground on percentage even if they win their remaining two. It’s there for the taking if the lads want it badly enough. Eagles and Giants have been hit hard with injuries. Granted we have a few out but not enough for it to be an excuse.
  19. You just know if Melbourne was in Collingwood’s position in this game they would have bottled it. You’d put your last dollar on it.
  20. I’m flabbergasted that someone could reach adulthood without appreciating that not everyone is fortunate enough to be given a quality education in their formative years. People of all different ages and backgrounds assemble here to discuss a team kicking a piece of leather around an oval shaped ground. The problem is yours. Get over yourself.

Was only a handful of younger players no? Also blown out of proportion for mine. If Jones, Viney and Gawn had approached the AFLPA before the coach then that would be an eyebrow raiser but a few younger players seeking out advice is a bit of a non issue.
  22. They also have Nic Nat, Kennedy and Gaff missing. Best ruck. Best forward. Best midfielder. Three players arguably surpassed only by McGovern in terms of importance to their side. The mental hurdle poses a far greater challenge than what the Eagles can throw up aganst us. On paper, we should win.
  23. Yep that would be the bench for me. JKH didn’t do a lot wrong but Kent is the more damaging of the two.
  24. We need to get the small forward mix right. The smaller forward lines are the ones that have provided the most headaches for the Eagles this year. If he keeps his spot, we need Jeffy to stand up in this game.
  25. Keep up the great support ?
