  1. Hey... lay off the Fake Grass.....it's the hardest thing about us today......I reckon it gets B&F votes behind Howe
  2. The tiges are getting worn out.... haven't realised they could still be slamming the goals on at walking pace with a can in one hand and a pie in the other against our blokes
  3. RFC are a third rate side..... Our one achievement today has been to make them look good God we are SH!T.... No Ticker
  4. Bate's game a mile in front of plenty of others in the Red and Blue
  5. Four Goals in a row...mus t be our best run of the season.
  6. Out to $7.00 (Toiges @ $1.07) Probably a fair assessment
  7. Market into Tiges $1.18.......Dees $5.10 I hope this just means the Richmond faithful started at the pub Thursday and have been working theTAB hard since then.....whilst the canny Dees supporters have been biding their time waiting to maximise the return.
  8. He'll have to ram home the need for players who don't hogget (ewe know, those who shear the ball around) regardless of wether they've been earmarked for the draft yet
  9. listed out of a forward pocket for this week. I'm a Bate supporter but.... We must be expecting to confuse the tiges who will be expecting a nimble zippy forward pocket to crumb under Clark
  10. If we can't secure and keep a sponsor and start serving up some decent performances (hey those two things could be related......we should look into that) then I don't expect this great club to be around. sad but that's how it works. Serial underperformers with poor finances don't survive anywhere
  11. Taken on a four hour each way plane flight (which is recognised as a significant impost on player's physical wellbeing) to do conditioning work. Really? >>>>
  12. Against Richmond we need strong bodied, committed skilled players with endurance playing with focus and a successful game plan. It's only Thursday so we've got plenty of time to get ready. If Bate doesn't start this week I'll be sure the "Tank" is on.
  13. Supporters should be able to call it as we see it. I don't see where denial gets us anywhere. We are serial underperformers The truth....can it set us free? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yB7J7DYi6M edit: link and spelling
  14. where are they....... Hille, McVeigh Born 1981..... our version Brad Green (b1981) Watson b1985 2 years younger than Davey (b1983) Feeling any better? (Fletcher of course is an amazing story of longevity and leadership... a freak really in the modern game.)
  15. What an indictment 31 wins from 121 starts.... On seeing those numbers my general sense of a disappointment suddenly has a point of focus.......FMD........and this while we are "rebuilding"
  16. Different from us in that: We are already 5 years into a rebuild and look like we are at least 5 away from being anything and We don't have the money. and I'm not sure that we have the outstanding prospects
  17. MB seems to have done everything asked of him. Big pre-season, trimmed down for more endurance and has been putting more fancied players to shame from limited opportunities from the bench. He must be wondering why MFC kept him at the end of last year to play a quarter a match behind some of the "players" we are starting with
  18. He probably will have his best year at the draft and get a pacy quality kicking HBF..... to play alongside Judd and Co!
  19. when it comes to speaking through our actions we are like Tommy Walker.....deaf dumb and blind kids....and we can't play mean football
  20. I don't think we cut him because he suddenly forgot how to play footy and it looks like a year off has let him get over a few lingering injuries. Seemed a bit odd at the time to lose that leadership but let's see how many he strings together for the season before we revise history.
  21. I doubt we will ever know what was actually said. ..... there is no room left for any sort of independent investigation. What did he say? What did he mean? What was the question? What was the context? Who knows? Could have probably gotten a lot closer to the truth if it hadn't been played out in the media What concerns me, based on the information to date, is that after months of no action, a predetermined set of outcomes have been demanded and delivered in a most public and expeditious manner. Was a little more process warranted? There is no place for racism in the game or our society. Nor is should there be for trial by media
  22. What are the odds that Folau gets off and can play first round.......Watching to see the AFL tribunal do the right thing on Monday!
  23. Forget the media fenzy..... does his performance over the last 5 years warrant discussion.....I see capable but not sensational, admittedly without too many early picks
