  1. Which 2008 draftee am I? Round 8 2013: 6 kicks, 12 handballs, 6 marks, 20 hit outs and a goal after the siren to win a game.
  2. Well regardless of your grace and manners I'm not sure what you were reading Rhino....Alotta did not say he was on the alternative ticket at all.....he said he voted for the alternative ticket.... You do tend to have some comprehension issues ....
  3. you can believe that (and I hope that faith makes you feel better)
  4. and us?a history of playing carp football and getting spanked....maybe we have a plan to lull everyone into a false sense of security before we spring... if that is the case phase one has worked like a charm
  5. vimeo.com/51297284 Time for some stiff upper lip......"...none of the lads 'eads went down..." Forget the normal video review we should show this at the next training... if our blokes are going to be the worst on a global scale they've more work to do
  6. My fathers family was involved with the Ngallo Demons Footy Club in the Mallee back in the olden days....The Club was in the Pinnaroo league then the Mallee league for a total of 90 years. Folded in 2000 when the club could no longer get a list together. Hope that is not an omen
  7. What cant get your counting over to the other hand Mono? got it otherwise engaged perhaps?
  8. maybe it's time for a little pride. "line in the sand"??? Im more after a commitment on the field that we need to do something....rather than just going the knuckle....but any sign of pride would be a step in the right direction
  9. "There's no Messiah in here. There's a mess all right, but no Messiah. Now go away!"
  10. And quoting Jack Viney as the future of the club at a presser following a pathetic smashing at home against the Suns......it's like deja vu but it's happening all over again...we keep driving the expectation that we are one player, one coach, one resource away from greatness......
  11. You are right of course. Jack Watts was one of the youngest Messiah's we've annointed...paralells make me nervous about Hogan
  12. just a question on perspective.....Will it count as GWS passing us if they are standing still and we are in freefall?
  13. He's got a 6 month contract .....we need to hold the faith for at least another 2 weeks
  14. We've a long history of butchering CHFs. Was always torn on Bate but as a lead up HF he never stood a chance as we kicked over his head for 3 seasons. See the same challenge for Dawes
  15. And the nominees for new Messiah are.......... Peter Jackson, for being willing to have a look at us for 6 months Jack Viney for his own misfortune of being the son of Todd and Jesse Hogan, the early front runner because he hasn't actually done anything and won't be eligible to until next year giving us a longer period to cling to hope. Following the norms of demonland we should now pin outrageous hope on one of these 3 turning the cluster around. Previous winners include: Dean Bailey, Mitch Clark, Chris Dawes, Mark Neeld and the new AAMI facility
  16. Frustration written all over that.... I can understand. He is playing with a lot more accountability and conviction this season. To those who think we should get rid of him, who do you think we'd recruit to replace him? This is the same issue as we've seen. Rivers effectively "traded" for Gillies, Moloney for no other inside Mid.
  17. Far from showing "a pair" and demonstrating that we won't be "pushed around" by the media and others, re-signing Neeld for extra time when he is halfway through his current contract (and struggling to deliver) would be highly reactive to the media and others and confirm the ease with which we can be manipulated. The decision about Neeld needs to be made by the club on the balance of a range of things, not to send a message to any third party
  18. Dunn played the tagging/ negating role ok under Bailey as well
  19. He's going ok... I'll be happy if Trengove has a first half like that tomorrow. Is he worth the brass he's being paid? who knows probably not but he is no spud.
  20. Scully looking OK in the blaze orange today... his best is very good and he is running hard and really stretching the bombers atm. Is he inconsistent week to week? absolutely. I think he is still going to end up a very good player if not a superstar. My bigger question..... would he be playing as well if he was at MFC... I don't doubt he'd be more inconsistent but would he develop to the same level. The good thing is we can only suspect but can never really know...and that will get me through another dread filled week as a Dees supporter...one of a tribe of the toughest, stupidest, most loyal and stubborn creatures on the planet
  21. He's amongst the few genuine proven KPP we have. We must keep him and a key part of that is to build some midfield structure before he decides to bail and go play finals footy somewhere else
  22. Maybe what he meant was a comment on the outcome ......we are not zoning because we don't get it right
