I would love to see dees pull off both these trades. Doubt that picks 49 and 58 will be enough though. Shouldnt Ray be pick 49 and Ped 58?

To Neeldy and MFC staff, you have done some great work in the off season... I couldnt be happier!!! I think Pedersen would top it right off, but i would be happy anyway. Im a bit surprised there is still a few of you concerned about mids. Looks like we are going to come away with two top ten pick mids from the draft, most clubs would kill for that...

I dont understand why you dont just get compensation for the player you lose. Wouldnt that work out fairly? example Melbourne lose Moloney and get second rd pick. Geelong get 3rd rd pick for Byrnes.

Correct me if im wrong. If Dawes wants out, and pies dick us around. Whats to stop Dawes nominating for PSD, as we have pick 3 and GWS and GC only in front of us. Pies could end up with nothing if im correct, or is it diff because he still has 2 yrs to run on contract? Be great if this was right, we could possibly get dawes and keep pick 20??? Is this how luke ball got to pies, that would be ironic.........

When i say it would be good to keep rivers for depth, i agree he would be in starting lineup, but you can almost guarantee at least one of our backmen will be out injured.....

Doesnt look too bad when you look at it like that, but i hope we keep Rivers just for depth. Perhaps if we get Dawes and Pedersen over the line he may be keen to hang around too.

Why not include Cam Pedersen in the poll too??? Just a thought...

I hope you and DB are on the money cause i reckon he would be better value than dawes anyway. Though as neeld as coached dawes b4, he might be of the opinion that he could get him back up to his best. Either of them and we will be better, but im leaning toward pedersen.... CMON!!!

I would take dawes at 20, no worries. I would also like Cam Pederson but cant see how we could get him, or would the club prob go for one only. Farren Ray and Ben Warren are not going to help us, i would steer clear myself and hope dees do.

I say keep 4 and have a crack at picking a good MFC 10 yr plus player. Bugger the idea of trading it off for a couple of lower picks, pick a certainty or as best as there can be.....

Im happy, i think he will be good value for us for a couple of yrs. Give the kids someone to look up too and doubt he would be costing us much... Go Dees!!!

I would love to know what a tough club like Collingwood would do in our situation? I think they would play hard ball and do exactly what we are doing. Unlike some on here that think we should just declare our hand now, madness!!! This is the real world, we gotta be tough and be pricks to make sure we set ourselves up. Its life!!! Ive said it before and i will say it again... There is no way GCS or GWS will risk pick one or two on a player who is likely to want out after two yrs. If you were their recruitement officer, would you do it??? MASSIVE RISK!!!

I have re-signed!!! Sucker for punishment, but ya just not part of it unless your financial... In the survey i made the suggestion that the fans should get to choose a draft pick... possibly stupid, but would be a massive promo for club and doubt we could that much worse than some of our previous recruitments... Members get to vote....

Dees will definately start climbing the ladder next yr!!! We are due for some luck with injury and then we are on. Not saying we will set the world on fire, but there will be plenty of improvement............

Im with you DazzleDavey36, Im looking forward to next yr. I reckon Neelds da man and we are going to slowly creep up the ladder over next couple of yrs. Should have some pretty handy players coming onto our list for next yr.... GO DEES!!!
