While i am not surprised that Scully would be a target for GWS, i find it hard to see how they could justify that much money on someone so young. GC got gazza for about a similar price, dont you think they would go for a proven player first? Im not realy sure i believe this rumour, can anyone honestly confirm this as fact?

He is my favourie smokey, reckon he might be the one of the cleverest drafting pickups we have completed, as left of field as it was thought at the time. Dees have definately got a couple of good smokeys!!! I reckon Sylvia and Scully are definately worth a punt for bronwlow, and LJ for Coleman is a ripper... If he stays fit, i have no doubt it could happen... Can anyone tell me the odds for LJ? Or is it too early?

Bhima, these reports are gold!!! Even better than the club writing a report, because you dont have to beat around the bush with what you write. And you are pretty good at just writing what you see. How do you see the coaches performing? Especially Todd Viney, how is he fitting in?

Is Luke Tapscott a lefty as well??? I think its good having a few of them in the team, allows players to go through packs on different prefered angles. Mixes it up more, harder for the opposition to pick which way were going.

I thought just before he left us, he was starting to play some good footy! Not sure why he couldnt keep developing at Carlton, but its always a shame when ties are broken by things like this with a club champion. I hope to see them both back supporting the Deesto. I just dont think hes worth that. Second round pick, no drama's. I did read somewhere that there was talk of swapping our first round pick with NM's, which is? Can someone please clarify for me what is most likely to happen? Will we officially find out today? Cheers

I personally cant see the advantage of bringing in such a head strong personality as Dean Laidley, just as DB is starting to get his stride up. And even less chance considering Laidley has indicated he wants to be a head coach, so we get him for like two yrs, then he takes off with all our inside goss.... Thumbs down from me...

It absolutely sucks when the footy is not televised, especially for us country supporters who dont have the opportunity to attend the game itself. Back to the dark old ages of radio waves. Better than nothing though...

People were calling for both these lads to be dropped last wk, glad they dont run the football dept... I have no doubt the opposition are a hell of a lot more worried when we have these blokes running around up forward. Injury aside, there are many good times to come. We have done some pretty special drafting in the last few yrs.

Everything is snowballing in a good direction at present. Now were back to level pegging, the club needs to stay on the front foot and just keep moving into a positive financial position. Thanks to everyone who contributed and to all the companies, who we should all get behind as well. Go Dees...
