We cleared 2 spots on our list by delisting contracted players Newton & Meeson with the assurance that we would rookie them if they were not selected by another club. So in affect we got Gawn and Fitzpatrick who would have been long gone by the rookie draft

I think I have found his problem then

For round 1 - McKenzie & Spencer = Yes. For the others it really depends what happens in the next couple of weeks. With LJ injured and Robbo gone, we are screaming out for a marking forward. Do you play Bate, Miller or Green from the goalsquare or all of them at various stages of a game? Memo to Michael Newton: This week would be the best time to play the game of your life and kick a bag of goals.

He dislocated or broke his finger in the intraclub game. Wasn't there a rumour a couple of hours before the game that he wasn't going to play? I think that there is more to it than he just had a bad game. There was something amiss IMO. He didn't have the usual LJ energy, not that he was helped by the amount or quality of the ball coming into the forward line.

Of the players that played in the intraclub game last Saturday the following are missing from the squad - Gysberts Dunn Newton McNamara Hughes Jamar Healey

Only time will tell.

So have Blease and Strauss kept 46 & 47? I felt certain Blease would get 17.
-
I think you can add Liam Jurrah and Colin Sylvia to that list.
-
Liam Jurrah is still eligible to win the rising star because he has played less than 10 games going into the current season.

&^#^#^^&%*&$*% it I missed this one. Probably got it somewhere on tape, but &() it. Not happy Jan

I was too young to actually comprehend what was going on when Ronald Dale left the Dees, so I would have to say Jeff Farmer.

I believe Jack Trengove's nickname is JT

The beard is gone already, but Jack was heard to say it would be back. -

A Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year to all.

No Nasher there is still hope I believe. Newts or Meesen could be still picked up in the PSD or in the Rookie by someone else. Just don't hold your breathe though.

Would it be good to get the priority pick next year?
Big Kev replied to Courtney_Fish's topic in Melbourne Demons
If we win less than 5 games next year Dean Bailey will not have a job. -
Another great read in the Age. I hope you enjoyed the trip Rudeboy. A very good point made about Sean Charles.
