  1. I think it may be Bennell to replace Whelan for a while until he goes into the midfield. Yes Maurie the only Bailey appointee is Martin.
  2. And he got over half his possessions when he moved up the ground and Martin wasn't on him. I think he should be elevated to very good.
  3. Any Casey updates?
  4. Casey are playing today as well, maybe he expects Spencer to step up for Casey.
  5. After seeing Big John play the last 2 weeks, I would say he is in career best form. If he can't make it now he probably never will.
  6. The 3 to miss will be - N.Jetta, J.Spencer, M.Newton
  7. I concur. I was actually disappointed in this part of his game and didn't think it really added much value.
  8. And which dame would you like to see him play. Tootsie? Mrs Doubtfire?
  9. The only person holding back Michael Newton is Michael Newton. I met a lot of very nice people down at TBO, and enjoyed my trips down there to watch Sandy play.
  10. Ever heard of a player named Matthew Richardson
  11. I hope to get there myself.
  12. I agree about Sylvia and Cheney
  13. Thanks RudeBoy. I am happy to be patient with LJ and allow him time to adjust, but that one little piece of magic was worth the drive out to Casey to watch the game.
  14. Great idea Jack. Thanks very much Andrew for your initiative.
  15. No the Aussie incident was in a similar spot less than 5 minutes later.
  16. You are the only one from our group that thought it was Aussie and not Liam, but that is alright Jack you never let facts get in the way of your stories
  17. Fan claims he doesn't know me, even though I have taught so much in the last few years.
  18. How does it go? If an infinite number of monkeys were left to bang on an infinite number of typewriters, sooner or later they would accidentally reproduce the complete works of William Shakespeare. You diagnosed the wrong injury a week before one actually happened, well done. Let me try a prediction. I bet that if you go for a one hour drive in the city of Melbourne you will come to a red light, you may not be smart enough to know you are supposed to stop, but it will happen.
  19. Got there about halfway through the last quarter of the 2nds, Pierce Liddle did some very nice things, I don't think he will be in the 2nds for very long. I think Shane Valenti may struggle on the bigger Casey ground and not be as dominant as he was at TBO, had a chance to seal the game in the last but missed, a player of his talents has to kick those type of goals if he wants to progress his career. Trent Zomer was caught behind too much but the disposal to him was ordinary and did not allow him (or anyone else) to lead with confidence. PJ was very good, just the hitout we would have wanted him to have for next week. Aussie and Maric were good in the first half, with Maric dangerous around goal. Rivers zoned off very well and took some Jared marks. Jordie McKenzie was our best player for the day, and probably spent the most time on the ground of the Melbourne guys, did some very nice things in tight, would not be surprised if he was elevated off the rookie list before the end of the year. And the most exciting for last - Liam Jurrah's first touch was running at full pace, picked the ball up at ankle height, did a blind turn through the pack and shot out a handball, very very nice. Didn't do alot else but that was enough to excite Big Kev and make me very eager to see more of him. All in all a nice day was had out at Casey, I am reliably informed that the hotdogs are not as good as TBO, but the ham and salad role I had hit the spot nicely, plenty of time during the colder months to compare the hotdogs.
  20. I concur
  21. Thanks very much for the additional information on Liam, I hope everything turns out well for him and he has a long and happy career with the MFC. I saw one of his first training runs with us and he looked to enjoying the experience. Would that make you Evil or Boots, Rudeboy?
