Im surprised he got a 2 year deal. I think we got more out of him off field where he obviously was a mentor to the young ones than what we got off him on the field. However I think its sad he has done his knee again. I think he will be more annoyed he will miss the footy show review. Buts thats 3 changes off our list already. How many players do you have to clear at the end of the year?

I just think we need a whole new clean out with fresh voices. Players that have just come out of the game to act as assistants. Id love it if we could get Ling as a our midfield coach seeing as Lenny Hayes has just signed on for another year. Ling could really teach our midfield a thing or to. Im not sure who Id even want to coach us yet but I just dont think Neil would be a fit for a whole season. Im not sure he would really want to do it.

Broadcasters would love it because it could be carlton v collingwood or richmond first week of finals in an elimination

I think the saddest thing is listening to the radio today and hearing parents ring up saying there children are being called drug cheats and getting picked on at school and the kids saying i dont want to go to the footy anymore. Its a bit low when children are being called drug cheats when its the team they support. Schools have footy days coming up and kids dont want to wear there essendon jumpers or are worried about wearing them. Anyway the golden boy is speaking at 11:30 today where he will say everything will be cleared and we will be fine.

Basically said he will weigh everything up and its not just about the coach we are getting. Its more his body langauge and the way he answered if he would stay at melbourne. He didnt give us hope.

Some said the same about Tregove and Boak from Port last year. They were a basket case. But they had faith in the club stayed and look at them now. A different team. Boak was being chased by geelong but decided to stay as he wanted to help the club get back on top
