On one hand i can see why Jack would want to leave but on the other hand I would be really annoyed because I just feel he owes some loyalty for us being so patient with him. Sometimes you just want to go up to Jack and shake him and say we know you have talent for gods sake let us see it. However the new coach may not want him and may think we could get something better in a trade which would be a blow to his ego.

Maybe the best and fairest wouldnt be so bad after all if they announce that roos would be the new coach. If we do get him to coach us then some thanks must go to Andrew D for getting Peter Jackson to our club as CEO then PJ for making great decisions and going straight after the big gun.

Well hopefully the leadership group has swayed him. I hope he makes the decision to coach us because he really wants to and it isnt because the money is to much to knock back. Im surprised he got a 2 year deal. I think we got more out of him off field where he obviously was a mentor to the young ones than what we got off him on the field. However I think its sad he has done his knee again. I think he will be more annoyed he will miss the footy show review. Buts thats 3 changes off our list already. I just think we need a whole new clean out with fresh voices. Players that have just come out of the game to act as assistants. Id love it if we could get Ling as a our midfield coach seeing as Lenny Hayes has just signed on for another year. Ling could really teach our midfield a thing or to. Im not sure who Id even want to coach us yet but I just dont think Neil would be a fit for a whole season. Im not sure he would really want to do it.

I think the saddest thing is listening to the radio today and hearing parents ring up saying there children are being called drug cheats and getting picked on at school and the kids saying i dont want to go to the footy anymore. Its a bit low when children are being called drug cheats when its the team they support. Schools have footy days coming up and kids dont want to wear there essendon jumpers or are worried about wearing them. Anyway the golden boy is speaking at 11:30 today where he will say everything will be cleared and we will be fine.

Im rapt, when he played his 1st game i thought my god this guy is a dud, but this season he has been outstanding and he is becoming a commentators favourite. Glad to see him stick around.
