INS: Jurrah, Sylvia, Bail OUTS: Grimes (inj.), Spencer, Jetta or Cheney (if susp.) Jurrah and Sylvia would provide 2 targets inside 50 when they're there, take 2 defenders outside 50 when they're there and they can both crumb off Dunn and give Watts more freedom, hopefully. That's a functioning forwardline IMO. Add Bate and Essendon have some troubles. Green or Davey can go back to the HBF for Grimes and be our architect. Bail in for Spencer to provide the extra run which allows us to play "Dees Footy".

Alright, let's end the speculation on Morton's kicking. I get one-on-one kicking coaching from Kevin Ball, the same kicking coach who works at Melbourne (the club where Cale Morton plays). We were talking about the Melbourne players' kicks and I asked about Cale. Dr. Ball said that Cale was one of the best medium to long kicks in the team, but because of his technique, his short kicking (under 25m) can be pretty bad at times. He is an inexperienced 3rd year player. They are working on it. The END

bring in spencil and let jamar expose their rubbish defence every now and then which also gives watts and miller more freedom and jetta and davey a chance of crumming goals

Luke Williams takes a screamer!

Dean Bailey has been in contact with Salopek from Port a lot recently.. i reckon we might land him
-
If moloney gets suspended, Gysberts is almost a certainty to come in IMO
-
Gysberts and Miller definitely deserve a run this week
-
blease is 184cm, 70kg: same height as green but only slightly heavier than bennell, even without the leg injury i'm not sure he would have had much impact this year
-
in riewoldt's first year he had gherig, loewe, hall and kosi. watts has bate and green, it will be too hard to start him as a KPF in my opinion

http://www.standard.net.au/news/local/sport/football-australian-rules/demon-on-song-victory-sweet-for-jordie/1800832.aspx?storypage=2 "Colin Sylvia and Cale Morton are returning, however the inclusions might bump McKenzie off the field." maybe the journo knows something we don't..

we haven't won interstate for 3 years the teams we have beaten after round 1, 2007 have all been interstate teams at the MCG, apart form richmond once we win interstate and against a half-decent team anywhere, we will be a chance to make the 8. not before then.

12 tackles this round is the highest in the AFL aswell 2 weeks running not a bad effort our midfield is looking more balnced
-
nah he kicked it left foot shame would have brought the house down

In round 22 last year we played the Saints and for little bits, actually dominated them this video shows our best bitsthings to note are: - high efficiency (even spencer hits a pinpoint pass through traffic) - constant movement and runners at angles from behind to keep the ball moving forward and avoid our usual stalls and flat-footedness - lots of pressure and strong tackling - winning the clearances (through jamar) - forward line performing Why can't we replicate this every week? Our players obviously know how to do it, but for some reason we just don't do it on game day the majority of the time If we can play like this against most teams there is no reason we cant win 7-8 games

http://www.smh.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-2010--the-final-five-20100320-qnbt.html this article suggests the demons may finish in the top 8 if our youngsters "click" i reckon if we win the games we should and fluke a couple here and there, it's not beyong the realms of possibility barring FURTHER injuries to important players, I'd say it isn't a huge stretch thoughts?

hawthorn's backline looks very vulnerable. too bad we don't have bate or jamar training at full capacity. hopefully green will go forward and continue his pre-season form. morton possibly to go forward aswell
-
well if we don't have these details, it's just a list of names it gives you an extra perspective on players' traits, strengths and weaknesses
-
on the website he's only listed as weighing 91kg...considering his size i would have gussed he weighs over 100kg i would think 91kg would be a tad small to contain the real monster forwards in one-on-one wrestles
-
Daniel Kerr is only $271,600 and is "training the house down" haha don't mind brad shepherd at $133,500. has been said to be stunning senior players with his skills and work ethic
-
