Royal to coach Midfield, Greaves assistant
Diablo Deemon replied to Trengove the Magnifique 9's topic in Melbourne Demons
Royal appears to have Neeld's faith I cant see how with all the changes he would have to put up with keeping him if he didn't want him. I'd be disappointed that we wouldn't pay him out if he was only staying because he is contracted. -
Pick can be banked and used any time in the next five years I think that's the main attraction it offers flexibility
-
Sorry it's not preview post it's 'use full editor' option
-
Using a PC Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 bit When I hit add reply a post is added when i go to the post and attempt to edit the post using the edit button the dialogue box comes up I make my changes then try to press save changes and there is no response. There is no response to Preview Post either. I press 'cancel' and that causes the screen to scroll back to the header. But the edit dialogue bow remains open. that's about as much detail as I can come up with

No, Never, Zilch, Zero, Nada, Nei My head will blow clean off if he does 7 years on a senior list 7 bloody years I know, I know he's a rookie he's taking no primary list players spot but he's not up to it I wish him all the best with his endeavours success happiness and life everlasting get the spud off the list it's embarrassing he comes in for his standard chop out of 4-6 games a year He'll be wheeled out in wheelchair soon as some sort of carnival attraction Come one come all see the spud butcher the ball Come on come all see the spud trip over his own feet and fall. On other news MFC trading mid round compo pick plus Warnock to GWS for Jaegar O'Meera has us narrowly in front of GC who are offering pick 4.

Not sure if already reported but the edit post feature I'm having trouble with I'm using firefox 6.0.2 not sure if there is a compatibility issue.

The last sentence is priceless 'It is believed that former Demons on-baller Josh Mahoney will also depart from their assistant coaching panel." Mahoney never played for us!!! I believe the should be a demonland wide embargo on all news, quotes and links to sportsnewsfirst their journalistic efforts aren't fit for toilet paper and Hagdorn is a muppet of the highest order it's embarrassing to quote or link anything he writes not knocking you treners I just think this guy is a worse than a hack he's lazy and he gets paid for it /endrant

The season of change is upon the MFC Its great to see there are some serious hard calls being made The club has listened and they seem to have responded our football department was as uncompetitive as the 186 point loss. Major surprise for me is West I rated him highly but as many have said over 3 years our midfield has shown little progress.

Works on firefox with most recent update for quicktime go back to the main page see if there is a link there or use the new sen iphone app if you have one

Green is still in NY i think he'll sign when he gets back Pendelbury rates Neeld very highly i'd take him any day he'd demand more cash than he who must not be named
-
Lets hope he gets on board from a sports science perspective he is rated one of the best in the business. Structure is his cornerstone something we often lack especially under pressure. What we are witnessing is a concerted and deliberate investment in our footy department which has been long overdue. Investing money into the footy department is the best thing to happen all year.

Neeld was interviewed this afternoon on SEN he gave some really interesting replies regarding our list. here's a link : http://www.sen.com.au/AUDIO The most glaring hole he described was that the majority of our team has attacking players
-
How will I know when Neeld has been successful
Diablo Deemon replied to nutbean's topic in Melbourne Demons
When you go to a game hoping for a win rather than hoping to get within 5 goals. -
Senior Coach: Mark Neeld (confirmed, Ocen Grove 4 premierships, learnt craft under Blight & Malthouse) Senior Assistant: Neil Craig - I think his sports science background will bring us forward leaps and bounds in footy development Forward Line Coach: Leigh Brown - Maybe, Leigh Tudor, Paul Williams Midfield Coach: Scott West - he has the credentials needs the game plan. Back line Coach: Think we're stuck with Royal but our defence as a unit has gone backwards since he took over Development Coach: Todd Viney Innovations Coach: Dave Dunbar General Manager, List Managment: Tim Harrington General Manager, Football Operations: Rocket Eade This would be the ideal I don't think we could afford it
-
Is Mark Neeld this man If so I thoroughly endorse this approach. and welcome further replicants to the ranks of the football department.
-
Here's a quick summary of the conference From Schwab Schwab confident of players recruitment Internally they had standout candidates Mark Neeld preferred candidate Neeld has outright coaching ability Coached western jets Defensive line coach originally Then midfield coach Locked in at 6pm Process was an open one informed Collingwood of their intentions to speak to Neeld Congratulates Neeld Mark Neeld Thanks MFC and selection committee, family and filth A lot of work to do a footy coach foremost Can’t wait for the challenge 15 years of coaching football at different levels Welcomes profile that comes with senior coaching Coming from a professional organisation MFC people he has met that they have pride and passion committed and working hard Will be surrounded with successful people with successful approach Combination of improving the list and developing the list As a coach stands for the ‘hardest team to play against’
-
Liam Pickering who manages Mark Neeld has confirmed what we all know. The part I'm interested in is if Craig is coming or not and Where does this leave Viney I hope he isn't disgruntled.
-
I'm glad that this has been sorted I don't know Neeld but I'm reliably informed that he constituted a lot of aspects of the press for Collingwood. I hope for a strong assistant coaching panel with a lot of professionalism and experience. Season of change is upon us I'm glad that a broom can now move throw the club. I eagerly await what is going to unfold. I have no idea if going for an untried coach again is a good idea

What does this say about the state of the MFC?
Diablo Deemon replied to Striker475's topic in Melbourne Demons
Trivialise suicide that's mighty noble of you. Keyboard warrior aren't you. You know any of the 2500 people that killed themselves last year? Your lack of tact is disgusting. Pull your head in. -
2 years out of a 5 year contract Chins will absolutely demand he is warehoused by having a year out The eagles don't factor in this the past doesn't necessarily predict the future. All of his assistants extended their contracts with the filth. If he wants to coach on he won't do it in 2012. He has stated his family don't want him to more than anything this doesn't give me any faith.

What does this say about the state of the MFC?
Diablo Deemon replied to Striker475's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's all pretty simple really. Were not a rich club with a high footy department spend. Our premiership window is at least 5 years away. We lack unity and purpose. We tanked and then got shafted rightly or wrongly this makes us look weak. Our draftees aren't as good as we think they are. We will have to make do with an untried coach or Viney and we will have to see if this sets us on a path. -
McChins will not release Malthouse he's made it obvious Malthouse will not coach anywhere next year. I cant see it happening I'm really annoyed we hadnt approached Lyon seeks almost negligent not to have got to him at some point.
-
Fremantle has money to burn in terms of football departments. After the big boys feed at the trough well pick up the leftovers. We will have an untried coach next year.
-
Who would you target from other clubs?
Diablo Deemon replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
Salopek wants out of Port I'm not sure where he rates in terms of mid field ability suffered a lot of injuries throughout his career. -
I don't know at what point you decided that there was an inverse relationship between MFC being shite and My highliting the fact. To say that I'm enjoying it is being churlish and lacks insight. The club is at a cross road at the moment. We have a president who is gravely ill and his lack of presence is being missed please don't misconstrue this but his leadership is lacking and it's evident. Our administration resolved debt got a new major sponsor but there are issues about communication, foresight and management outside the scope of their field. On field it doesn't get much worse we loose a traitor for 16 pieces of silver. Our former captain is making a comeback to spite us. We are the laughing stock of the competition once again after 4 years of brutal Insipidness. Now I fail to see the joke in all this I really do if things aren't rosy I'm not going to say they are I have supported this club for every year I have been alive and Have never seen anything remotely close to success. If it helps you and others sleep at night by ignoring what's happening fair enough. But what right do you and others have by criticising those who are justifiably unhappy with our clubs current course. This club needs to be strong, successful and earn respect there is no way this is happening.
