missed a simple 'captain's goal' with 10 minutes left that would have slammed the door on Brisbane. They immeditaely cleared the kick out and went coast to coast but thankfully missed an easy shot themselves. Had they kicked it there would have been one kick in the match. Not a good look Green.

Tapscott has played 2 pretty good games in 2 outings, he is a second year player. looks pretty good at this stage, but he might be like the multitude of others before him at the MFC that never got much better than their 1st/2nd years output (cough - Nathan Jones - cough). Maric, Blease and Strauss have done squat in their 3rd/4th years, Morton and Watts have been OK but not superstarish. Grimes is a butcher.

I'm not interested in crystal balling, but at this moment in time, 5 of those 6 players do not look like becoming star players, and Grimes has disposal issues that may hold even him back. I'm not making any grand statements here surely? Maybe harsh on Blease but it is year 3

8 years ago! currently they are expected to finish bottom 3 and were belted by 78 last week we also schooled them by 55 at the MCG last year and they had Fev and Brown in that night no excuses for anything but a large win

come off it, Maric has not played a good game for the club as yet while JB has played several, in round 1 he was in our best 3 or 4. Too many people on this site have a memory span of one week. I agree Maric is a bit stiff but naming Bennell as the bloke who should be torched for him is more than a bit unfair, it's not like JB is a senior player good ins and outs... Gys, Cale and Ozzie, I feel much better about the side already
