Scully Out for Another ... now ... back to Six Weeks

you and rogue should take that show on the road you're just using sarcasm as a way of burying your head firmly in the sand -

anything at all, like sitting in the stands with his teammates watching us play, for example. That would be a nice indication that he is interested in being part of the club. I saw Jordie at the ground the other day, didn't see Tom there -

pft. we don't know what this business trip is all about so let's put that aside for a second if he's in the membership ad that's good, but its just game footage to sell memberships, its not showing his face right now is it. you know what I mean -

I would have thought that neither yourself or Nasher would really need it pointed out to you that Scully is the controversial figure at the moment, not Trenners or McKenzie just seems to me that the club would be putting Scully in our faces a bit more if they were confident we are keeping him. I know if I was in Schwab or Bailey's position I would be looking to hose down some hysteria by showing the kid participating in the club in some way. -

seriously? that IS interesting.. that group of players is like someone has hand-picked our future top shelf excluding Jurrah and McKenzie, I wonder what that's all about could it be something to do with this plan the club has to provide mentoring to the players? well that's a good thing I guess from the scully POV -

but there ARE a lot of threads to this story and they SHOULD be looked at in conjuction for one I am surprised that more people haven't noticed we have seen/heard very little from Scully himself in the last few weeks and what that might mean. It's like he's not on our list at all right now -

no man you just don't get it the idea of scully leaving is so ridiculous that the correct way to discuss it is with absurd and unsuccessful attempts at humour -
yes apparently Malthouse is working pro bono

Neal: You know everything is not an anecdote. You have to discriminate. You choose things that are funny or mildly amusing or interesting. You're a miracle! Your stories have NONE of that. They're not even amusing ACCIDENTALLY! "Honey, I'd like you to meet Del Griffith, he's got some amusing anecodotes for you. Oh and here's a gun so you can blow your brains out. You'll thank me for it." I could tolerate any insurance seminar. For days I could sit there and listen to them go on and on with a big smile on my face. They'd say, "How can you stand it?" I'd say, "'Cause I've been with Del Griffith. I can take ANYTHING." You know what they'd say? They'd say, "I know what you mean. The shower curtain ring guy. Woah." It's like going on a date with a Chatty Cathy doll. I expect you have a little string on your chest, you know, that I pull out and have to snap back. Except I wouldn't pull it out and snap it back - you would. Agh! Agh! Agh! Agh! And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea - have a POINT. It makes it SO much more interesting for the listener! -
Barty is pretty underrated, at one stage yesterday, because of a teammate's mistake, he was totally under siege by several opponents and fought his way out of what would have been a certain goal, it was fantastic stuff
-
Watts has played over 20 games but just go right ahead and exaggerate with your 'on debut' comments, it does your argument no favours if you think Watts and Morton currently look like a #1 and #4 draft pick you need to take a good hard look at yourself look how Trengove is going, that is what you expect from a top pick
-
where are they keeping him? Has anyone laid eyes on him in the crowd or the box or anything this year, he has completely vanished. The reason is because everyone at the club knows he is gone already hilarrious isn't it! LOL!
-
I don't know what your are LOLing about, I don't think it's very funny. Kid doesn't have the spine to resist the money. we've been dudded by the AFL here, at least we got Trengove, unless someone else purchases him too

Beamer's been our BOG 3 out of the last 4 weeks, big effort

TBH I'd be looking at the more of a blight on Scully than I would the rest of the group This is a group of young Aussie blokes overseas, they work their butts off all year and fair enough let their hair down on the OS trip I tell you what, if I was enjoying myself in that scenario and some first year pissant was looking down his nose at me I'd just think he was a [censored] rather than feel the rest of us should be taking it easy. He made his own decision not to drink, good on him, doesn't mean the rest of them have to join him. The kid sounds like he is a blast to be around oh well I hope he enjoys getting belted by 100 every week next year, he can spend his big pay cheque on orange juice or whatever he drinks when he's going wild

they are so bad at times we we would make a big stuff-up, any decent side would have both stymied our attack and rebounded for a goal of their own, GC would just stuff up even worse and we'd still score. Moloney, Sylvia and Jones just walked through their attempts to tackle. They will cop some frightening beltings

SUNDAY STROLL AS DEES HAVE FUN AGAINST THE SUNS
Curry & Beer replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
hey man we won by 90 that's NINETY points we kicked 8.7 to 1.4 in the last, you don't think that was a training drill? christ some of our supporters are pathetic -
5.5 - 1.5 would be an incredible position to be in, be 2nd or 3rd on the ladder, it is doable

also heard from someone claiming to be in the know that he is gone. I think this 'mystery' injury is dodgy as -
I don't think we were particularly good yesterday, which is a bizarre comment after a 90-point win. The GC is just awful, we should have won that by 120. Still reasonably happy with where we are at right now, we know we have another gear to click into Eagles match is huge

We are about to get key players back, how will we fit them in
