Agree that his injuries could have been managed a hell of a lot better, but there was really no other option with regards to leadership. He addressed the group after his first game, was always going to be taking some sort of role there. I think it's to his credit that he's responded so well to the cutting back of his leadership role (and probably speaks volumes to how much better our off-field management is).

Agreed 100%. I've found in the past, I've always been keen on the flashy mid/fwd player early, (Bontempelli, Stringer, etc.) but my favourite player is the hardworking back pocket/inside mid (Jetta, Viney, Oliver). In Taylor we trust. That's why he gets paid via those huge novelty checks.
