I have just watched the interview re Green on the couch- imo he handled it well no hesitation and came across with integrity although deep disappointment in his own game in particular.Interesting in that he agreed with most of us in that we need a bulky mature forward..

To you and others and in particular my old mate OMR--NEVER EVER GIVE UP- take each match as a grand final- that is how one develops but agree totally, luck plays a major role.If luck had been on my side I'd be leading this league by at least 12 points. But I tell you I am in 5 place and I intend to go to first place..especially after Robbo signalled me at 21/1 I just wish he was a real bookie..I would have had a mega amount on myself.I see Dappa hardest to beat,HT & D/L7 are the real darkhorses...and the ones to beat..and by the way I took Jolly as my first pick and don't really get a mention in any awards for my players, therefore one doesn't need a team of champions but a champion team..I have coached to negatively..HT taught me that- thank God he woke me up and now I have some real good forwards hopefully ripe for the finals...and Cam Bruce whom if right could turn out with Mooney as matchwinners for me. Go for it each coach...anything can happen..

Stop stirring-I'm afraid I might catch your disease...however whilst on the subject of rules & regulations, we are on the eve of our league's final series and I have a question? How do we obtain the rules for the finals. I'd like to read what happens if there is a draw re 4/4..how is the winner defined.-Highest score? please advise - thanks

I couldn't disagree with you on this post..I feel the same way..excepting to state that Junior been given the flick , like he did, is almost unforgivable.But I have no doubt it was a joint decision.One of the major issues, at the start of the season,was to try to gain some experience into the club due to the lack of leadership.A vacancy still sits on the Board for a football person to come on it..Nothing was obtained..there seems to be seroius in fighting and the players don't seem to be united..it is therefore the coach, football manager and the ceo along with the President(whom is currently overseeing the football department on behalf of the board) to sort things out..in a couple of years time, we will be richer for this years experience..however, there needs to be change..and in particular the coaching panel.I am not saying Bailey has to go , but the collective mateship of C.C., Viney and Stynes have to stand up to be counted now as we have basically not performed to our true ability this year..and earlier in the year, it was supposed to be the clash of the coach and the CEO..that was on tenderhooks.and I still do not understand why the Wednesday segment by Schwab was stopped straight away with no notice to all.No doubt ,they have issues and needs sorted now.The board which is has a brilliant amount of clever heads need to urgently appoint another football person whom can oversee this area apart of Stynes.He is the President and needs to not place himself in possible conflict of issues with in the football department itself..Stand up Steve Smith or someone like him..

I think the main aspect of this is-It had already been vetoed.Secondly, I cannot understand how then, when did you make the new trade..before midnight on the 24th..if so - soething is wrong with the system..as I tried to get on at 12.07 am on the 25th to exchange Ryan Hargreave for Dunn , but it would not accept my trade. Therefore I don't understand the system--also as stated by HT as well as myself- we only got notified that a trade request has been requested at 10.48 am - Monday,25th when the same trade had been vetoed on Sunday night at 11.07 pm.. and now you want it vetoed yourself..doesn't make sense at all.

Lucky buggar- I wish it was me...watching possibly the greatest performance ever...completely punch drunk for 3 days and got up and knocked them out in the first round(15 minutes) of the Time trial.....reminds me of the old Sanyo add of the 80.s --O what a beauty...I have never seen one as good as that before...

I also got mine today...however, if indeed Robbo is that desperate..let him have the picks..but I smell a big rat somewhere....HT to the rescue...

Great points raised- maybe we have a trading committee...after rules and regs made...At least no one can blame me -ar at least this time re trading- only traded once after HT showed me what to do... Well done personally -we all have had a great time and a real learning experience to all and don't forget JA & D.D played this before.JA was the premiership coach..and you put up a great fight wih Dappa this last round..

Please note cannot play Stanton in the G/F if I get there but will be a great help trying. I feel reasonably comfortable right now and wish that Robbo's odds of 21/1 was genuinly on offer-I'd have a real slice at that.. the one's to beat in the finals IMO are not in the top 4.. D/L7 & HT are the ones. Not saying that any are out of the race...luck places a major factor..if Newman stands up- I'm a dead duck-- got me..you are not also out the running.. battle away--NEVER EVER GIVE UP.. IT IS NOT IN MY CHARACTER..I've followed the Dees for just on 60 years now...

I'd take Sandilands first and utmost as a ruckman.But got your point and fully understand that--I really do not feel that you or Dappa would do anything under the table..or do I believe the Mods would do anything either..however ALL I SUGGEST is---have a covernote for next year..And lastly- thanks for doing a superb job this year.I have really appreciated participating in the league this year.

Hi- I heed your points raised-but don't tell me ,you are not in it to win it-you are as competitive as anyone..re you or anyone else.(all us coaches are)..I totally agree JA has done an outstanding job and in particular changing jobs just after accepting this role..However, all I am saying that we need to adopt some rules re structure for 2012 to alleviate any possibilties of collusion /and or cheating.We ALL put a lot of time in this game but like anything in life there must be rules and reulations we all need to abide by.How many times have the Mods sconed me? Because you Mods claim ,we have not abided to your rules & regulations.Sme thing-HT..I thought you, most of all, would support this request for action.And by the way- my remarks were made as Banter- not in the suggestion you are/were going to cheat or collude. But l am geniune AND SERIOUS in saying, we should definately make sure these possible anomolies need at least vetting before next year.We also have two persons in JA & DD whom seem to have the same surname. Now, I am not suggesting they will collude and or cheat but again we need rules & regulations to cover these aspects as we move forward.In particular with Dappa's bad luck over the last few weeks, if indeed he was contemplating doing something wrong, he would have already tried. No- the spirit is right and sound..my banter with you got to ya- hey..first time for anything.. Let's go finals - let's go. And by the way -I want to congratulate all coaches on the spirit re attitude to the league itself- no doubt there was times such as Deevoted felt like giving it away etc.. but by gee he/she kept to it amazingly well. Please re read what I said -- we need to look into these sought of things- trades for next year and make some rules on them..that this is what I said--(I support some thoughts along the same way and the last round b/w 2 mods definately need watching.We need to develop some main rules by next year...2012 Demonland league)..and now I can asure you -I and we do not like being called fools - you galah..hope I get you in the finals- WOW -I intend to belt your rs.And just for your own knowledge I was hoping you actually did swap- without Green in the finals would have been disastrous for you.Have a look at the deaw- the Dees play Eagles at home -first final, Richmond, 2nd final, suns- prelim and G/F-Port.He will be a matchwinner innearly every game when we try to make the 8.I think you have been lucky that you got vetoed..Save grace and shut up - that's my advise.

The 4 will be decided in the 20th round b/w Range Rover and me..I hope it is a draw and we both get in...

OMR - you are a truly great competitor and coach.It is very disappointing you ain't with me in the 8.We have had a great time together with our banter etc..A great game we have just had..truly I thought I was gone..in particular when I knew Johnson was out.I was geniune about Pods..I was told by a Werribee footballer whom played with him , he was seriously sore..but seems not as sore as Johnson.When I was at the G but listening to the Geelong match and Newman went off- then I knew I had a chance.All the best to you and sincere thanks for the compliments..

It's called planning-Bruce could -if given the chance to play seniors be a star for me in the finals.He's averaged over 20 poessions a game every season before this- so if he hits form could be a great weapon for me -in particular the Grand final against Gold Coast.. Also I have heard instead of resting Pods -they are going to rest Stevie J--that means JAYCEEBEE rolls over and dies..
