  1. Gotch has done a pretty good job - don't you think?
  2. Protest......unfortunately......Dismissed. And don't worry my Sis, I will try very hard to win the big one for our family.
  3. A few of us may have a say in these proceedings.Dappa is not over the line as yet..Sandi may even break down again or even rest in the last couple of games if Freo get beaten this week- it will leave the gate wide open.. And congrats OMR-- keep up the good work..let's try to get the double- hey!.
  4. Well,I do- Deeluded and tell me why we shouldn't..given Daisycutters point of view.
  5. To me a leader is someone whom can show the way.Yes, we all know that Fevola has baggage off field but as stated, since he has played at Casey- no sign of trouble off field- the only trouble on field was his scuffle at Werribee where he went in to protect our young Casey players and was deemed to have caused trouble. At times , he has not shown interest but NOW.. when he has got confidence he is is kicking GOALS.. and that is what we want to Demonland..Goals.. and someone that we can rely on.. we can't rely on Jurrah, Green or any other forward for a reliable outcome. He is a great leader to show how our midfielders where to kick to the forwards, he can assist the forwards to fast track. He can bring others into the game - similar to how he had a reat relationship with Eddie Betts whom has kicked I think 14 goals in the last 3 matches..or so- What price would Carlton be right now if they hadFevola at full forward and he was in the same form as in 2008 where he kicked 99 goals and then followed up to Win the Coleman with 86 goals.. How many will the winner kick in 2011..currently the leader with 3 rounds to go is Buddy with 62 goals.. how much would I love to see Fevola winning the Coleman next year with 80 goals or assisting Jurrah to win it ..as Rude Boy says he would have this year.Furthermore, we all have made many mistakes.Howard Hughes went bankrupt twice - making the same mistake. I lost millions in the last major down turn 3 years ago- made the same mistakes last week in the stock lose and back in 1986 made the same mistakes then or similar. But fortunately still got the business and still got enough to live with.. therefore so give Fev a go-- we all make mistakes and give a a fair go to all- That is my Motto-maybe Nasher that is the problem with you and your state- you never have a go or you can't pull up your socks to have a go...that it what leadership is all about. Lead is to direct, show how they have learnt..And lastly, read what the famous guru on leadership say's about leadership--Leadership Definition : Peter Drucker : The forward to the Drucker Foundation's "The Leader of the Future" sums up leadership : "The only definition of a leader is someone who has followers." To gain followers requires influence (see John Maxwell's definition below) but doesn't exclude the lack of integrity in achieving this. Indeed, it can be argued that several of the world's greatest leaders have lacked integrity and have adopted values that would not be shared by many people today. Now you may have learnt something yourself and I normally charge a fortune for my advise..and now you may have a better understanding of why I have an opinion on Fevola being a possible asset to us.
  6. You'd have to be joking- Hall was 33 when he was runner up in the Coleman last year at 33. Neita was 33 before giving it away and by God his body was virtually completely broken down..Fev's is raring to go..
  7. I wouldn't muck about- senior list straight away-- as you pointed out correctly, we gave Campbell a slot on the rookie list suppossing to help out and teach our rucks.Fevola would be a great assistance to our very young forward line.
  8. Where did I say that Fev is a proven leader.I said his experience would help our young forward line. However, we need leaders- Yes- Fevola is a leader--he can direct, lead, organise and these are the elements of a leader in which I feel he can contribute on field immensely.
  9. You'd have to be kidding- we'd go absolutely backwards..that is our issue this year.. we need proven leaders..and need to recruit at least one this next draft..look at what Bock has done at the Suns this year..we need a some experienced senior leaders..at the helm..and some will come up..Fevola would be an ideal leader in the forward line..would release Green to the guts or wing.We are right for experience in defence.Fevola would be worth 5 goals a match himself kicking 60 and giving leadership and experience to the other forwards. Experience in the forward line such as.. HF: Petterd (49 games) Watts (37) HOWE(10) FF: Wonaeamirri (31) Fevola(204) JURRAH (33) IMO- it is a no brainer in giving him a go..he'd certainly be in my team..
  10. And what hassles has he created since going to Casey- twice or three times at the pokies... get real- we need players whom can play- he can play and I feel he has turned himself around.. could even become a great on field leader given the power to be one..Are you an Australian.. if so - the old aadage - give the bloke a go is IMO. the best remedy for us..
  11. Brotherly luv hey??? Both may even play off in the PRELIM FINAL. DD - you may call yourself Bart but I'd call you Anthony- got alot to learn as yet..
  12. Gee your effort really disappointed me- I thought I would be playing you or DL/7 in the prem/final. You have gone back to a lower deck with an attitude -- There's much to play for 7th you know....
  13. A dual role I think we need - someone very experienced such as a Pagan or a Laidley with a Neeld as joint coaches would be great-- A senior for strategy/ tactician- Neeld for hands on player movement role. I do think Bails was very good as a on the boundary coach but was terribly weak as a tactician /game play maker. If not we need to make someone like Connolly as a tactician to assist the likes of Neeld if indeed we take him on.IMO- Neeld would be near perfect for our needs now.I was at the Collingwood match against St Kilda in the media area just behind Collingwoods bench at Etihad Friday night and gee I thought he was fantastic the way he controls him team.
  14. I have said this all year since Casey took him on- that MFC should pick him up for a 2 year contract. He could be the answer to a lot of our issues. However, I agree to him doing a pre season- see how his attitude is - then give him the green light. He could be the shining light to develop our young forwards also.
  15. Is Bate & Bartram contracted past this year. Please advise..
  16. 6. Howe 5. Frawley 4. Petterd 3. MacDonald 2. Bleese 1. Trengove...
  17. Yep- great venue= great location- gteat tucker.
  18. Maybe players like Liam can step up to the plate- he seems like he has gobe right off the boil.Maybe a HUGE pre season is what is needed at Melbourne and a HUGE change in the football dept (OVERHAUL).
  19. Very poor performance by both S/bottom & Polo- you now can also have acoconut on them as well. BLOWN OUT TO 30 TO 1
  20. Maybe football Manager
  21. No hope- he barracks for the Swans.
  22. Would you say- Bailey was as good.. I think he could definately be a possible punt along with a good sidekick..
  23. Maybe as members, supporters, followers we are placing to much on the club..We won 7 games last year-already won 71/2 games. If indeed we can Win 3 more games-I think we will have done a great job..However, we will really need to recruit vigourously just to maintain our acheivements next year.
  24. I agree- the pressure of being captain has really affected him. Iwould not be surprised if indeed, we get a coach like Clarkson..that we poach a captain-similar exercise when we tried to get Ball.Wouldn't mind Mitchell as captain at the MFC in 2012..or somebody like him.If indeed we couldn't get an experienced leader-a shared arrangement could be the answer.
  25. That is sad--what are you requiring ?
