Also not stated on the list is our Ruck coach of the last two years- David Loath.
-
I don't believe that Misson's assistant ended up coming. However I note it was reported both were coming. In answering your question - not on the list .
-
I'd sooner pay Fevola $40k a year Play him FF ,Martin & Jamar changing in the ruck and maybe Oh Alpin at CHF. Cheaper, better in the short term and good to develop young talls. Patton may not like GWS and we maybe able to pick him up in two years.Or another tall from the Suns whom become homesick.
-
I believe we have a very good replacement in our ranks. Pringle is a Demonland member who has given us great insight over the years. I believe he is a sports doctor currently working for one of the inner VFL clubs. He's an MFC member and is only 31.
-
Lisle would be a great pick up- can play CHB or Key forward position. Also could develop into a relieving ruck.
-
There are plenty of talls available. I'd sooner OhAilpin .And develop the young ones.I also feel we need a taller backman as well.
-
Just heard it myself- could make the big body player forward we require.
-
Signed a one year contract but no news on captaincy. I say give it to Moloney with Trengove-V/C.

2011 Player Review - # 20 Colin Garland
jayceebee31 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I still believe he is better suited as a wingman. Not tall enough and strong enough to hold a key position back position. -
Nicol completes our new coaching team. This now makes us the most coaches in/for any team. We retained our development coaches as well.Go Dees - now up to our list management and recruiting staff to get the cattle to coach.
-
Heard a little wisper today that we might entertain Oh Ailpin. Feel he could be a matured tall whom could be around for a few years.
-
I think you will go close but maybe not the same odds as Black Cavier tomorrow.
-
I think we need Talls- and if we got all talls in our mandatory 3 picks-- then that would be alright with me.Got plenty of mid fielders IMO.

Yep -but gee one can really see what has gone on this year in our football department. No doubt the in fighting and the Scully affair would have really caused friction and now the money spent to gain better results are mind bogging to a bloke like Bails.
-
Our former coaches are in demand with Bails going to Adelaide and having a sling at the club as he was appointed-http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2011/10/06/bailey-has-one-last-dig-at-melbourne/ whilst Mark Wiliams has accepted an offer to go to Richmond as an Assistant coach. It is believed to be the role that Bails declined at Richmond.
-
Williams will join as a senior Assistant coach taking the role declined by Bailey. http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/6301/newsid/124723/default.aspx

Peter Sumich leaves West Coast to join Freo
jayceebee31 replied to jayceebee31's topic in Melbourne Demons
This seems the year for changing coaches- Sumich seems a very good fit at Freo. -
Just had a call from the West to tell me he has left to join Freo as Forward coach.. Very surprising indeed.
-
Fevola sounds better to me.

If indeed you litened to things - you would have learnt that Neil Craig has stated he will be overseeing these 3 areas. He will be foremost the mentor to Neeld, he will be assisting with the structure and strategy of the fitness area - however this will be solely overssen by Missen and will oversee the development of the football department. He is also hopeful to travel and pick up worlds best practice on an on going basis. And I can assure you- he will be putting in place a high altitude camp for at the end of 2012.I'll be catching up with some of the group at Etihad this week , so if Mattt Burgun is there,I will request him to place the new structure on the MFC website.
-
Why don't you come down and see it for yor self-I have offered to pick you up for years now. Also listen to this ..http://www.fiveaa.com.au/audio_mark-neeld-new-melbourne-coach-making-changes_103079 and Neil Craig's interviews to verify his job at MFC..

I can asure you that is the structure that I stated.. It is on the board at AAMI.
