  1. A good point that you have raised.I think he beleives that we need as a priority a quality coaching panel that indeed arre great communicators to bring out the best in our list. I'd like to see the following or similar Senior Coach-- Neeld Senior Ass. Coach-- Viney Defence coach- Ayres Ass Def coach-- Satterley Midfield coach---Royal Ass midfield coach-Greaves Forward Coach- Carey?? Ass F/w coach--Ox ?? Innovations coach/ Dunbar Development coach--O'Donnell Ass Dev coach-- whomever coaches Casey. Have I missed any roles? What forward coaches would you put up or indeed any other different coaches to my recommendations? Await your thoughts
  2. Thanks- expected to hit the press after Werribee's B&F this Friday night. As stated a reliable source .Very interesting Neeld seems to be bringing hard working yet unexperienced AFL related yet strong TAC related current experience in the two pick up's it seems in Greaves & Sats. Both are extremely good communicators .
  3. A thorough gentleman and true Red & Blue, will be sadly missed. Helped to nurse another great earlier in the year- Seam Wight. Both now RIP. Condolences to all.
  4. It will be very interesting who goes and who stays. And I think we will not announce it until at least after trade week or indeed near or after 31st October when all players are due back for a HUGE pre season.
  5. Gee trying to outdo me re your Avatar OMR.. Re Satterley, I agree with your point regarding CV..I like that he has gave up a promising business career for his passion only 1 year ago- therefore would be totally committed to job on hand.
  6. Cannot confirm role but as already stated Slats would be an Assistant to a line role..I guess as an Assistant backline coach. I am guessing here but I assume We will have Back line coach & An Assistant,Forward coach and an Assistant,Midfield coach and an Assistant. Senior coach and a Senior Assistant coach along with the developing squad coaching team. This is what I believe Mark wants to put in place.
  7. Correct- his contract is finished both as a Developing coach at the MFC & Casey. However, just confirmed from source /contact that it is a Ass.Line role--whatever that means.
  8. Yes HT- a very good communicator and developer.I wouldn't be surprised if he even took over the reigns at Casey. However, my informant says he has taken a role as a line assistant-- whatever that role is... maybe as a assistant to a BACKLINE coach .My informat is very surprised as he met with him last night to discuss playing with the Tigers next year. Slats is signed to coach in 2012 therefore must have a clause in his contract.
  9. I have been told today that Paul Satterley current coach at Werribee has been appointed to our coaching panel. This rumour has been passed on by a current Werribee player (see background to Slats where he coached with Neeld at Western Jets,http://www.sportingpulse.com/club_info.cgi?client=1-118-10455-102874-9815582&sID=56269&&news_task=DETAIL&articleID=13582180&sectionID=56269 )
  10. Not if the body cannot stand up and I agree with George's viewpoint. It is up to Green and the club to sort this out but..he can be sure he'll have an unbelievably hard pre season to get through. And I feel he should definately gove up the captaincy straight away.
  11. Farren Ray is or would make a great pick up for us IMO- would make a great running winger for us.
  12. I think we have invested enough in the indigeneous players at the moment. All have to stand up next year whom are on our list. We had a poor year from Davey, Liam was ok-Wona- we understand his troubles- but now we have to gain something back from our investment , Bennell- went OK and Jetta- just. These boys are inconsistant and we do not want any more at this point in time is my opinion.
  13. Very interesting from a MFC supporter background. We have Jack Viney playing for Oakleigh whilst Sandi's coach was formally listed as A demon..he was a listed player whom didn't get a game. Go Jack GO.
  14. Interesting the recent outburst from Sheeds -strongly suggesting that ALL vic clubs poach a Freo player...well..then maybe he should not onsell a 17 year old to them either.
  15. If the coach you mention above thought he was that good - he would have been picked up last year as the Bulldogs gained a few .However, we need a developed body player whom can get the ball out of the centre. Luke Ball is not quick and his disposal delivery can be questioned..we need a similar player to him..IMO.There will be several players whom will be picked up from the VFL this year.
  16. HA HA -- they won- and whom brought the team back into the match-- the midfield.
  17. I believe Crouch would be a great pick up for us- really shows class & determination and comes from the Ballarat district.
  18. Gawn has the ability and character to be a sensational part of our playing group.
  19. Misson would not be included in the 8 full time coaches. Therefore 3 more required..If they keep David Dunbar then.. he would be included I believe.
  20. Very interesting opening speech. Thanks Andy for your input. Very much appreciated. Sorry for cold dinner. Felt warmth and sincerety from him, seems the club will fully back him, especially in the area of football department. Now the investment in 8 full time coaches, we can see the full development of our players. Now it is up to them. Go Dees.
  21. He can't contracted by AFL to play the first 2 years with the club he is drafted to --the Weagles. And the player whom we should through the dough at is Jordan Lewis -a star in the makings. Fevola is the tall forward we need and a tall backman will also be great.
