  1. I count 8 -- however some may not sit in the box.. Neeld seemed to really enjoy the boundary line- similar to Craig. However the 8 are : Craig, Neeld, Rawlings, Royal, Brown & the 3 assistants. I also think Kelly O'Donnell will also sit in the box. A lot of people in the box now...
  2. president I MFC Board 1 CEO (Cameron Schwab) / Football Director (Lyon (for now)) \/ Director of Sports Performance (Neil Craig) \/ Senior Coach (Neeld) / Elite Performance Manager (Misson) / General Manager Player Devt & Strategy (Viney) \/ Backline Coach (Rawlings / Midfield Coach (Royal) / Forward Coach (L.Brown) \/ Backs Asst Coach (?) / Mids Asst Coach (Greaves) Devt Fwd Line Coach (Satterley) And also: General Mgr Club Devt (Connolly) Football Manager (Mahoney) Developement Coach (O'Donnell) Innovations Coach (Dunbar) General Manager List Devt (Harrington) Recruitment Manager (Prendergast) Assistant backline coach still required.
  3. Leigh Brown will be named forward coach later this afternoon. Only leaves an assistant back coach whom most probablyannounced at the same time.
  4. I expect an announcement early this week virtually completing our coaching panel with another from the TAC that could be added.
  5. I second these thoughts.Well done Andy and the team.
  6. He might have been there on oficial duties. Confirming that Leigh Brown will coach at the club and Pendles will play his last year at Collingwood. Yes, maybe those were accurate but as RR rightly stated he would have been there playing his respects to all and sundry but especially Malthouse.
  7. Seeing that Fev is going down to Warnambool to visit our former boxing coach - Ryan.. both maybe able to join Demonland as Forward/Boxing coaches.Barry would certainly harden them up,this would suit Neeld.
  8. Intersting to see what happens at Casey, will Gotch be kept on? And who will take over the last two coaching vacancies. Forward coach & Ass. Back coach.Your opinions please.
  9. And I believe we should all give KC an award for his work through out the year. Very much appreciated.
  10. We have a policy of one year after turning 30- no exceptions ot at least at this stage..
  11. Discussions currently taking place.I would expect finalisation by end of next week
  12. I think he is a short prized favourite to join us.
  13. Too true and by gee they are in for a HUGE pre season after the end of October and by gee they do not want to have been eating the likes of turtle in the meantime. There is a time and place and last night., I thought it was great to see 5 young players bonding together having FUN.You never know Neil & Dave may bring in some dancing for pre season. However doubtful. Maybe in high altitude next year. I hear that Neeld is very eager to go down that track.
  14. Discussions have well & truly taken place but IMO he is most likely northbound due to top offer .Would really like him at Demonland though. The forward coach intrigues me with no insight at this stage. Trying desperately to find out though.
  15. The way things are going we may get a gig sometime.
  16. I believe you are correct. And like all posts already state- a great advantage having Craig available to grab him next year.
  17. Totally agree but the football dept. report undertaken early in the year has taken it's effect But Gary has had a major effect in implementing it.
  18. I think you have the org. chart you stated above. However every line coach will have an IT person as well.Neil Craig confirmed the above on air (AW) tonight.
  19. Agree- with Craig to be formally annonced at the club later today- I truly hope we treat Trade week with same vigour.
  20. Neil Craig will be joining us.
  21. I disagree - Icke would be a greater asset than Craig. We are weak in this area , thus C.C moving to a totally new area & Mahoney hasn't even cut his teeth in his new role as Football Manager. Icke, if he came in would basically become C.S's deputy & designated CEO IMO.This is an area the club needs to strengthen & cover..
  22. Just a maybe, MFC was talking to him for a very senior role at our club for 2012..Such a role maybe indeed be Director of Football.
  23. He was and as Vanlo points out he played Backline well at Hawthorn.-- I had forgotten about this.
  24. WOW- We are steeping low in the barrel now. I personally think Matty has been sensational. Although, I understand your point of view, I think he brings us news promptly & conscisely. I have been a strong critic of the website in the past but by God he has significantly improved it. However, like everything, there is room for improvement.Updating our player list with accurate information is one beef I have.
  25. Fair points that you have made- just noticed that Ben Hart is joining Collingwood as their defence coach next year- this,I guess will leave Max Hudghton Defensive Coach out on a limb...May make a GREAT assistance to Rawlings. We can only hope...
