  1. OMR-What's this about me & Smack Talk-----already started just to satisfy you. And by the way, I think I would start Odds-On in this area of our Ultimate footy game.
  2. Thanks for back up and support. And agree with Davey.I feel Davey will have a good year especially with Clark next to him,to physically support him. He looked hard at the ball at training, didn't he?.
  3. A faint hope- needs to develop further to make it-however I do feel he can make senior Casey side, and if so- one never knows.Good luck to him and I hope he proves me wrong.
  4. Don't worry about Malthouse, we have the boy to fix Watts up, Leigh Brown will do the job.And Neeld will make sure of that.
  5. Firstly -thanks for your kind personal thoughts. Secondly, I agree re your comparison with trapper. As HT points out Sylvia doesn't seem to be able to put his best forward on the track ,however, this year is one of his better years IMO.Look for a cracker year from him.
  6. at least two or three, and he will be a beauty as well.Talls take time, that is why Watt will develop very well under Brown/Neeld,we are extremely lucky to have both.Brown is a beauty, takes the rucks as well.
  7. No issue- I'll explain at a later day,but I can assure you, they did. That's life but don't want another for a while. Take care,JCB. Look forward to a beer sometime soon
  8. Yes but 2012 is another year. Based on today's training, we will play wel against the Hawks. And if this happens, it will surely boost membership. GO DEES.
  9. I can confirm that all going well- that is correct, although it maybe the weekend.,this is what was mentioned today at training.
  10. I questioned today at training - Why are you using these sponsored Hankook footballs still. The answer came back,we have new ones put away, just waiting for the new announcement.I asked when? reply- very, very soon. Therefore sometime in 2012 hopefully.
  11. You are correct. He may always have a resticted pre season where he swims a lot instead of doing running work as a main fitness routine. One will get a huge shock when they see him now.By gee I'd hate to get on the wrong side of him.I even thought today, his body may be too big for his injured hip.The guy is just HUGE.
  12. I don't mind if it is Dangerfield, Viney, Trengove,Gawn,Watts or any other player/s,I think we only need to pick up one more class mid and we are premiership material.I also think Sylvia will become an elite player this year,
  13. We all have had bad days and nights, that is why I got suspended trying to protect WYL that's life.By the way I can cope.I am just a battler like Joel,we get there in the end. .
  14. Robbo,I'd rate you a 8 to 1 chance, but I 'd love to get 10.50 to 1 especially each way.In would put my house on it,but not my company. The two new chums are the challenge & hope OMR goes well, just hope brotherly love doesn't intervene.
  15. Hi champ- both players trained well.Maybe short of a gallop.I believe both may strip with Casey this week.Jetta's parents were there today and said his shoulder is holding up well. Both good emergency type players IMO.But you are the champ-your opinionI'd appreciate.
  16. His fitness, class is just what we want.Another star is born IMO.He has just got it.!
  17. I strongly believe he will be back well before 10 weeks time.Looks if he could join main group soon.Did ruck work against Jamar & Fitzy today
  18. Sometimes a break from the workplace is the best recipe. When, a player cannot train, sometimes depression may set in,IMO.Therefore, if the club has sent him home for a while, they know what they are doing. Another player.Leigh Williams was excited today, as he said he was hopeful of regaining training with the main lot.He said that he only had trained with the group for about a week or so.and thank God, he got picked up from that.Another rookie, Jai Sheahan. ,has caught Gawny latest - grown a beard as well.Another, whom, I noticed,Taggart -is a very good build whom looked sharp- club has high hopes for him.
  19. Just IMO- seems to light against the main midfield group,re Maloney,Magner,Couch,Jones etc..may play on a wing, but up against it. Bate seems to have taken his spot for now.One other whom impressed me, that I forgot was Strauss.
  20. He only ran laps and didn't join the main group. I was told this IRON MAN is still a week or two away. But don't forget last year, he didn't play any games either as I recall.
  21. Yep- also trained impressively and will play this week -at least for a half IMO.
  22. Training commenced around 9.50 am today, running laps and doing the same sort of drills that has been reported over the last few weeks. It finished around 11.55 am. There was an air of excitement there today, both from a confidence boost after last Saturday and Ron Barassi was there.Ron was doing some training due to Sixty Minutes doing a doco on the great man to be shown later in the year. He seems to have a great rapport with the new football department and in particular Neil Craig.(age may be a factor though). He said to me that he had never ever seen so many coaches in his lifetime coaching at the same time (reference to our coaching panel). Ron mixed with the crowd and had a photo shot with a class of school children who were at training for the event. Missing were Liam Jurrah and Michael Evans. I'm told both were back home .Jurrah, we all know ,whilst Evans was given a break to go home for a week or two.Max Gawn showed his face for a few minutes. All others were there as far as I could see. Luke Tapscott, Jack Grimes, Leigh Williams and Jake Spencer were the only ones I noticed who did not do full match day rehearsal. Grimes and Williams are expected to join next week,Tappy a couple of weeks away whilst Pencil looks great and is not far way as well. Ricky Petterd and Jared Rivers left early, both looking sore. I spoke to Ricky and he said he had mild concussion from last Saturday and had a few sore spots but would play this week. Nathan Jones left a few minutes after these two and said he would probably play a this week.Grimes, is busting to play. Trenners is really excited to strip this week also. Players who caught my eye at training were Josh Tynan, seems to read he play brilliantly, Davis, hard nut who also reads the play very well and Kelvin Lawrence. I wouldn't be surprised , based on training today that he strips this week. However, the real star was Jack Viney who could play now and be a sensational star, straight up. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer you. GO DEES.
