Gawn was innefective, and with Dawes out, we were a bit short up forward, but some skill and decision making errors apart from our poor start really cost us the points here.

What can you say, almost but not quite. Still too many turnovers with skill errors. I lost count of the amount of times we won the ball but it ended up in the hands if a port player,even guys like Jones and tyson who were great all day got caught with it or over ran it. We will get better.

We are a quarter or another pre season away from being a really good side.

Grimes is doing some good one on one defensive work, but when he has the ball in his hands often makes the wrong decision kicking it short across goal. Salem on the other hand is a revelation with his smarts. Viney needs to get into the game.

I can see whay many are a fan of Kirk as a player, but what makes you all so confident he would be a good coach. In his short time as a footy commentator i was less than impressed with his oratory skills.

Its Dangerfield for me, explosive ,match winner, who can play midfield and forward, and lead by example.

Its hard to say too much for various reasons, but from experience,lets just say he is more like Mark Neeld than Paul Roos.

He wont be the first player to want out of GWS......id love to have him, and there will be more as it would be hard to get thumped every week and have no supporters in a place thats not into AFL. There are also issues with the Coach, would be rubbing a few players up the wrong way.

If Dawes was in i would be a little more confident , although im still hopeful , i would be surprised if we pulled this one off.
