There's no doubt we can get our hands on the footy.....but we desperately need runners, quick skilled mids who run and spread. Search the county far and wide for the best four or five of these types we can find.

Thought we played ok too....we just need to clean up those turnovers from skill errors. Loved Jetta and Fitzys game. Shame we are going to start next season without Dawes, but Hogan and Fitzy in the forward line will do nicely.....and maybe Mitch Clark by some miracle. Add another three or four better skilled recruits ala, Vince, Tyson and Cross, and give Viney,Michie, Kent , Toumpas, Salem and JKh another preseason, and we should improve more next year.

Beats me how he gat a game ahead of a JKH tonight......Jay offers so much more at this stage.

We seem to be getting our hands on the ball ok, we just can't get it inside 50 enough, and when we do do we rarely find a leading target.

The thing is with them is they both have skill, and Clisby has a bit of pace to his game.....shame he wasn't given at least one game to prove himself.

I hope Hogan gives us something to kick to next year.......and will Clisby and Strauss get a gig next week, or are their papers already stamped?

What I don't get is , from the start of year the boys looked like they knew what they were doing when they had the ball in their possession You could see a clear game plan, hang on to the ball switch play and attack from there. The way we took the game on against Adelaide, Port, Richmond, Carlton, Essendon, Bulldogs, and even Sydney was great. Dawes and Pederson were on fire and our forward line was functioning. Then we lost it and went back to our usual selves, playing hesitant footy, and looking like they don't know what to do with the ball when they get it. Right back to the turnover kings we were in the past. I just don't understand how they can just lose it like that.

If Grimes is still captain next year I ain't renewing.....he isn't a captains little finger.

It's like a never ending torture that the team you loved as a kid is an embarrassment to your children.

I just want to apologise to my children who are 13 and 16 , that they have not had even one decent year to enjoy footy and be proud to be Melbourne supporters. I'm sorry you had to follow this disgrace of a club, and if only I could turn back time I would have myself changed to a Hawthorn or Geelong when you were still babies.

I honestly think we would do better if we traded the lot of them. I'm a 35 year consecutive member and I ain't buying another membership until we start winning games, not because I'm disloyal , but because of my mental health...gotta switch off footy for a couple of years, start getting into other sports.

Is Roos a worse coach than Neeld? Maybe he was just lucky he had sensational players at Swans. I hate this team....I was sick of all the losing five years ago....now it's just resentment towards these heartless flogs.

I don't know what happened to Dawes, he was great earlier in the the year, marking strongly and giving us a real presence up forward. Now he is almost a liability.

Jetta is the only one in our team that has anything that resembles composure.

We are getting killed on the inside and the outside

We try, but we severely lack top end talent. We don't have anyone as good as a Fyfe or even a Ballantyne. Grimes wont be captain next year.
