The thing about Petty is that his best is very very good. He was amazing in our win over Geelong. He was a terrific defender in our premiership year. But I think he needs to be the third tall in either the forward line or backline. It can’t be just he and Turner, he has to have Van Rooyen or Brownplaying to be effective up forward ir May and Lever down back to give him freedom to fly side on and take his marks

Huge game on Monday. line in the sand for us. Unless something is really going on behind the scenes and they don’t turn up again.

Clarry or Petty I’d say but Petty isnt a star

A big part of the problem is also team selection . We are playing guys that have shown no form whatsoever in the twos. Petty, McAdam, Hunter etc.. it’s like we are living on hope

Ditch the new game plan right now. Go back to putting all our efforts into winning the contest, ball ups and centre bounce and pump it forward. Van Rooyen , Fritsch, Kozzy, etc may benefit with the ball coming in fast . I know we missed finals because of this approach but it was mainly inaccuracy. Get back to our DNA!

I really had my heart set on this group winning one more flag on the G so we could see it live , but alas it looks like I’ve got to resign myself to the fact it’s not going to happen.

Lost 3 of our last four and we look a listless bunch. Cant see any miracles from here, they just don’t have that desire and manic attack on the ball anymore. We bowed out of finals in straight sets the last two seasons and this year we may not even make the 8!

Absolutely wrong. They are doing as they please under no pressure at all. The year we won the flag our pressure was manic. That was my point. whether I personally have played footy at an elite level or not is completely irrelevant

Any chance we could turn up to a game with the mindset of putting immense pressure on the opponent?

Non efforts by Fritsch are disappointing

That’s a few times in the last three games I’ve noticed Mcadams lack of penetration in his kicking

That was the most satisfying non Dee’s win of the year

Sam Darcy my new favourite non Dee’s player

Windsor looks like he needs a rest, so a full game for Woewodin next week Maybe Jefferson in for McAdam ANB has been good at centre bounces Van Rooyen was better this week still young so lots to like and to build on.
