What the hell is wrong with this club that champion players want to leave?? just watch our membership numbers tumble drastically if Trac leaves.

It’s so bloody sad, and it’s really frustrating hearing all these reports and bad news at the club this year. Who ran over a black cat?

Hate to say it but Dogs will win the flag

Thought even Salem was turning the ball over a lot tonight , blind handballs and kicks round corners with out looking. Max and Kozzy were huge, but I thought we played dumb footy in that last quarter. We only needed 1 goal , but kept kicking to packs and missing handball targets. Having said that , we are severely undermanned and have lost to top 8 sides like Brisbane, Carlton and Port by less than a kick. Win those and we are top 4 , what a crazy year.

Just not good enough this year. Too many have gone past us. I fear we will need a helluva lot to go right to even make the 8 next year.

Gus’s retirement knocked us for six and we never really recovered. ( his loss can’t be underestimated). Plus we were unable to cover for Clarrys slow start and Tracs and Gawns injuries . We will need another preseason to take stock and reset for next year. Wouldn’t have done any serious damage in finals this year anyway.

That was painful to watch

There’s holes everywhere in Mclures story. He says Oliver is unhappy at the club and the way he is being treated , not being played where he prefers to play and starting on the bench. Oliver is playing in the middle, where he always plays and only starts on the bench because he had a limited pre season and they are managing him. The club has done nothing but fully support him through his issues, and he has stated how much he loves the club and his teammates.

I’d bring Max Gawn in, I reckon he could be the answer to our ruck problems.

Yes I agree but it wasn’t just as a result of Ruck contests where we were beaten, all around the ground they were much more efficient in their ball movement and workrate.

Our midfield got smashed inside and out, they always seemed to have the extra player on the outside and our pressure was poor. Disappointing effort or just beaten by a better side? They just seemed to play a better structured game to us and we have great difficulty in playing against it.

I’m sorry to those that rate him but Sparrow is just a nothing player

Why are they all unmanned so often in their forward 50? Ok we are down in the ruck but why so poor in defensive effort today??

This was a big test for us , but we are getting games into our youngsters and hopefully better next year with Trac back and a proper pre season for Clarry. We still have a chance this year with Max back next week. Hurts seeing Jackson dominate against us, as he is what we are missing most.
