The media can spin it however they like. as long as we hold a united front and Kozzy , trac and clary are there next year. we will make finals , and another pre season for Roo, Disco and Petts will show the naysayers we are back baby!

One of those players could have also told a friend who then possibly leaked to the media.

Petracca needs to say something very soon so we can all move on as he is causing untold damage to the club in his silence. Only reason I can think of as to why he hasn’t is he is waiting for Carlton to finish their campaign so they can declare their mutual interest in a trade.

Has one player ever caused so much trouble for a club without uttering a word?

I guess the thing I am most perplexed and upset with in all this, is who the hell is leaking all the inner workings of the clubs exit meetings etc to the press?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. The media is determined to bring Melbourne down , no matter what is said or inferred. They will create their own spin based on their own pre judgement. We are on a hiding to nothing and sometimes the less said the better. Kate fronted the media, probably because of the multitude of calls to end the silence, but it looks like it has backfired on her. I don’t think she will be doing it again anytime soon. Keep them guessing and don’t honour them with a response. The only one who should be making their position clear in all this is Trac himself.

The media seem to be clutching at straws in regards to why he wants to leave. Issues with the club re his injury or He wants to play in front of bigger crowds, two completely different things.

It’s like someone or a group of someone’s want this club to go down. Why? So they can get out , or they want someone out.

We will drop 10k supporters minimum if Koz and Trac leave .

We turned up in droves in 22 and 23 and filled the house in our finals especially, but it was the team that let us down despite turning up to support them and after bowing out in straight sets and dishing up this years rubbish, no wonder there was a drop off in attendance.

All this just does more damage to the Melbourne football clubs reputation. It’s just another chapter in ugliness which would only deter decent players in wanting to come to us. As one commentator said the MFC has a dreadful stink about it right now. A combination of terrible luck and poor management.
