  1. 6. Grundy 5. Oliver 4. Langdon 3. Jordon 2. Mcvee 1. Hunter
  2. This is a must win . I feel a statement performance coming on. Two teams I really want to beat this year are Swans and Collingwood . We owe them both and we owe it to ourselves Im not too worried about Brisbane or Geelong , I reckon we will account for those teams at the pointy end, but I don’t want to hear that Collingwood chant on Kings birthday.
  3. So it’s Gawn , Thommo, Harmes and Melksham out JVR, Hibberd, May , Jordan in
  4. It’s definitely JVR time, played some good minutes in the ruck and performed well. We are down in contested marks so far this year, so the inclusion of JVR and May should help. Hibbo has been playing out of his skin the last 3 weeks and deserves another chance . Jordon also might be a better bet than Harmes in my opinion. I feel for Dunstan as coming to Melbourne was not a great career move, even though he is playing some good footy. As for the outs it’ll be Harmes, Gawn and Melksham, maybe McVee for Hibbo but the kids been good. TMac the lucky one, as he might get one more week to do something. We need his support in the ruck as well, so we may see a three way rotation with Grundy and JVR , through the Ruck, up forward and resting on the bench. We need to make a statement and come out breathing fire, with Viney rarely playing two bad ones in a row.
  5. All time top 5 player for the club and the most consistently top level performing player I have ever seen.
  6. 6. Lever 5. Bowey 4. Clarry 3. Brown 2. Hunter 1. Spargo
  7. I was really disappointed in Viney tonight, thought he would be champing at the bit. I drop Harmes and TMac for Hibberd and Van Rooyen.
  8. As long as Gawn is ok , I’m fine with an 11 point loss against a contender on their slippery hole of a deck, without four of our top liners . They came out with a point to prove and our attitude was off most of the night. We will learn and move on , but we need Max , Kozzie and May in this team.
  9. All I really care about is that Max is ok. We will bounce back
  10. One of the worst nights of footy I’ve ever watched
  11. I don’t think Grundy has taken a mark
  12. With our three most impactful players in Gawn , May and Picket missing all they have to do is stop Oliver and Trac which they are doing.
  13. McDonald is a real worry , can’t take a contested mark to save himself
  14. If Max has done his knee it is season over for us
  15. Yeah I reckon they’ll give May till the last minute and Thommo will be traveling emergency and a possible late in. Melksham the sub again.
  16. Dangerfield is proving to be a pretty ordinary captain so far
  17. Exactly what I was thinking when watching him yesterday. Doesn’t Have Clarry, Trac and Viney at his feet anymore.
  18. In general I believe that this years group should even be an improved model , not only with the addition of Grundy and Hunter, but the improved maturity of players such as Sparrow and Rivers. Bowey and Spargo in that category as well. The other factor is the bigger bodies , like Pickett and Sparrow.
  19. Thought Lever really stood up in Mays absence. Bowey is Mr reliable Kozzie has arrived as a complete player, looks bigger and more powerful and will be a nightmare match up, as if they didn’t have their hands full already with Clarry and Trac. TMac looked out of sorts , but it’s a positive to kick a winning score with TMac down and Fritter out. BBB will hold down that Full forward spot bar injury.
  20. 6. Kozzie 5. Clarry 4. Gawn 3. Lever 2. Trac 1. Brown
  21. Gawn will go back for sure and Grundy will drift forward after the main bounce.
  22. I’d say probably because we already have three talls there with Brown, TMac and the resting Ruck.
  23. Based on who I’ve seen 1. Flower 2. Ox 3. Clarry 4. Trac 5. Max Honorable mentions to Stynes, Hardeman, Neitz, Farmer and Jakovich
