Farewell Luke Jackson
At least through all the drivel in the commentary booth there was one spark of intelligence from Brayshaw "how do the Dockers satisfy Melbourne in a trade BT?" Yes, how indeed?

It's in his contract 🤣- The pow wow
I can't speak for others but the reason I haven't addressed, responded or rebutted David Kings comments is that I haven't seen them. Like you I have basically switched off from all footy media this year other than the odd episode of 360, On The Couch or First Crack. I too find the level of "analysis" bemusing at best and downright frustrating at worst. For players and coaches recently out of the game they should be delving into the tactics and strategies teams employ and trying to educate supporters so we can enjoy the modern game more instead of dumbing down the commentary and analysis. Just look at the channel 7 commentary team, they'd much rather inform you what players do away from footy instead of explaining the complexities of the modern game to the average punter. Fox commentary team is slightly better. The analysis we do get is rarely more than parroting of champion data stats the majority of which we have no access to and often mean little without context.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Started off $1.90 evens- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
Yep hasn't got much recognition this year but should be in AA discussion I think.- Melbourne & Mark Neeld: It Wasn’t All Bad

They killed us with speed but also contested marking earlier in the season. Hopefully we took some lessons from that.- Melbourne & Mark Neeld: It Wasn’t All Bad

You don't rest players a month out from finals in a must win game. If you meant dropped then I could see the argument for Spargo though I wouldn't do it but no way does ANB get dropped. He would have to be our number 1 pressure forward surely? The amount of run down tackles he gets is obscene.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
I can't believe this guy is still only 22 years old. He has absolutely dominated since midway through last year and has probably been our best key defender this year which is no mean feat co sidering the quality down back. It only occurred to me when viewing the contract thread that he is tied up til 2025 and will only be 25 at end of contract! Massive upside for this young star has the potential to go forward at some stage and could be captain material down the road. Loving his game this year.- Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Reputations aren't always positive 😉- Breakfast with Simon Goodwin in Perth
I assume he's just a huge fan of 80s metal but it would be good to hear it form the horses mouth 🤣- In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
Actually it started at half time in that game- Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I know this is a joke but I don't get the punchline?- Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
That was part of the reason I found it so hard to reconcile the fact he might leave. So happy he has signed on and committed to the club long term. Outrageous that we have basically all our core players locked in for 5+ years, astounding list management from the club. Onya Gussy! - POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
