In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.

The problem is people looking to equate loading with results rather than performance. Your performance can lead to poor results but it's more about how you perform on the day (ie noticeable fatigue, sluggishness, inability to cover ground, inability for repeated efforts etc)

Interesting to note who was the fitness coach at Geelong in 2007 - Dean Robinson aka The Weapon - also at Essendon when Goodwin was there.

Pretty sure that's meant to read Flogmantle- In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
Scott's comments were after they beat Eagles in Perth about 6-8 weeks ago.- In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
Not so, it's been mentioned here and there over 25 years. The most common example is Craig at the Crows when Blight was coach. Nevermind the date stamp this article is from 2007 (notice the Crows midfielder who is quoted in the article š¤) https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/teams/crows-can-do-it-the-hard-way/news-story/8dbb81862363821fdf0a51548b4adb85 Also "1997: Becomes fitness adviser and assistant coach of Adelaide. He plays a massive role in Adelaide winning back-to-back premierships. Craig had previously been a sports scientist at South Australian Institute of Sport. His ātaperingā training is regarded as cutting edge among the AFL" https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/755571/neil-craig-timeline- In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.

How could you play on a 135m long ground? The centre square would be 7.5m inside the 50m line at each end. A good article here about ground sizes. As I mentioned a few weeks back although Geelong is thought of as a small ground it isn't really - it's a narrow ground but longer than the MCG. This length plays into how the Cats play it as much as the width. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-16/cody-and-sean-afl-analysis-how-much-do-ground-sizes-matter/101154950- Forward Half Concerns

Even if North finishes last WCE would still pick him up in the PSD. North aren't going to meet his price and force him to play somewhere he doesn't want to be. Especially when they are trying to build a culture there. Hell even WCE may not meet his contract demands if he makes it clear he only wants to play at Freo.- Trade and Free Agency rumours
Max can play up forward but (other than a freakish Prelim final) his goalkicking is suspect at best. He can drop back but not as a key position defender. Grundy is very similar although not as good a contested mark around the ground. Someone worth looking at as a stop gap backup ruck could be Darcy Fort? Seems on the outer at Brisbane who won't play two rucks and can kick a goal.- 2022 Tickets Thread
It's not sold out, there are still heaps of seats at the top of the Ponsford and the Northern Stands on Ticketek. But you are correct a GA membership entitles you to the same pool of tickets as the general public which puts you at a disadvantage if you have to wait for it to appear on the mobile app. I guess the other option is using your membership barcode to "purchase" a GA ticket through ticketek?- Fill the āGā

Interesting, it seems we've been setting our zone further back this year for whatever reason - it hasn't been the high forward press we saw last year.- CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
I'd rather Grundy in than Cox, the Texan has a way of getting hold of us.- 2022 Tickets Thread
It looks like there's still plenty of GA at the top of the Ponsford and Northern stands- CHANGES: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
May out, Petty on and off injured, Max injured should've been subbed out but Turner was concussed so was subbed out instead. We kept bombing it straight down the throats of Cox and Moore.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Jackson has to agree to go to WCE we don't have the power to trade him there without his consent.- The Run Home
