POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
He should've just had a shot and I reckon they expected him to as well

What they are saying at Bomberland
at one point in the third quarter this game was like that time when the Washington Generals scored a goal against the Harlem Globetrotters. To have a player like Oliver must be a luxury... Refuses to lose a contest. Our skills are deplorable. Our players are dumbasses. We have no structure. Our #1 ruckman offers nothing around the ground. We're not getting much out of this season. At least I don't have to care anymore. Go Dons. we were absolutely woeful, and at no point did we really look like a real threat at all. we don’t run, lead or chase. We get out bodied all the time and most of our positive ball movement was a result of a Demon’s mistake or a lucky bounce. the scoreboard flattered us enormously. In fairness I'd say that when we got that goal in front Melbourne's mids, and Oliver in particular , turned the wick right up and a few of our players , not necessarily mids, were found wanting under the blowtorch. McGrath finds his best role which is when he doesn't have the footy. What a waste of a number 1 pick i don't know about you guys but i'm going to stop thinking about this game and go have a squiz at the port board

Bowey was fantastic again, kid is a star

I agree, he's been ok so far and wasn't terrible all round but did have terrible moments. He loses his opponent far too easily, a first gamer was outsmarting him running around behind him while Smith was ball watching. Probably comes out for Lever next week.

Agree completely, some sloppy execution stopped it being a 10 goal + win but we never looked like losing despite what the scoreboard may have said. In a way it's sweeter to win when they thought they might have a chance to pinch it and then we just put away a 5 goal regulation win 😂

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I thought he should've been moved onto the ball in the 2nd quarter to give us some spark. But honestly Kozzie is fine, applies pressure around the forward line. Small forwards aren't going to hit the scoreboard every week and as a group we need ANB, Kozzie and Spargo to just play their roles. Was very congested in our forward line with Essendon flooding back and a few times Kozzie was in good position he was either ignored or skill errors missed him completely.

Essendon were absolutely horrible especially the first half. Dragged us down to their level . Our execution was sloppy but our structure was impeccable. I was never really worried even when they hit the front. We just suffocated them and they had no answers at all.

What they are saying at Bomberland
That's why we have to hit the ground running. Snuff them out early and they will drop their heads.

They'll just make the GFG's only applicable to higher grade memberships - other clubs do it, not all reserved seats get a GFG

What they are saying at Bomberland
Long may it continue If I were a Bombers supporter Rutten's appearance on 360 last night wouldn't have filled me with great confidence. If they decide not to tag again Petracca will rip them a new one.

Farewell Luke Jackson
We didn't want to keep Howe we tried to send him to the Gold Coast. Pretty sure we were happy to see Frawley off too knowing we'd get a top 5 pick in compo.

Farewell Luke Jackson
That doesn't sound right at all. Surely we would have put a longer offer in front of him, any money Ralph is guessing.

What they are saying at Bomberland
I'm not hoping for much, just a 149 point win.

Farewell Luke Jackson
He's not a FA - which club could satisfy a trade? WCE may have pick 1 this year, that would be a start.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I made the Schwarz comparison late last year - but I said "without the leap". Well since then he's made me look like a fool as he is more than well equipped in the specky department. It's his smoothness and touch below his knees which reminds me of the pre-knee injuries Ox. Only 3rd year as well, no wonder he has not signed yet, his manager would be telling him "no rush". Sky is the limit with this bloke, absolute star and extremely marketable for the club as well.

AFL has removed that requirement.

Think it's 27 or so, Geelong from the 50s

Farewell Luke Jackson
"Yeah who knows" was in response to contract size/length not really about whether he will sign or not. Seems like he's pretty happy at the club.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
The ball was a cake of soap out there tonight I don't think you can take too much out of this one. We won, already looking ahead to next Friday. Essendon are 0-2 and must win, we really could just about finish their season off with a good win but it seems they did push the Lions today (haven't seen any of the game)

Was hoping we might get into his ear last year but he signed a long term deal with the Suns. Good on them he is a ripper.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
Spargo does it, Kozzie does occasionally but seems to have stamped it out for the most part. I don't like it.
