Is there ANY DANGER AT ALL we can pick players in this next draft who are ready to go FROM DAY 1??? We don't have time for %$&%ing bean pole project players this year, we need a quick fix and we need it right now otherwise we might as well shut the bloody door now. This is just another frustration that is pi$$ing a lot of people off.

I'm 5 but without this "but I can see a plan for improvement" and wavering on this "and I’ll always support the team. Go Dees." because the way we're going we won't have a team to support when the next TV rights deal comes around. The final insult could be Sunday if they don't pull their fingers out and get it (close) to right.

I would be very surprised if he isn't. He's been their best player over the last 5 weeks.

Petterd is good enough if we want to be a terrible team. Davey the same - he is shot. Sure most of our players are "keepers" but are any of them actually any good?

It's a very good point daisycutter but doesn't change the fact that he's a lying filthbag.

Not to mention he lied his ring hole off all year about it - that's what annoys me the most.

Seriously if a number 12 draft pick goes at the end of the year without playing a god damn game then WTF is club doing?

I've said this a million time over the last couple of years - his kicking action is deeply flawed, I've watched him very closely - he drops the ball way too high and nobody at the club seems to have told him or bothered to rectify it. Whenever he lines up for goal these days just put it down as a point. He has his moments (although not this year) but they are generally few and far between.

Ten goal minium loss here. Just boring now.

If Moloney leaves at the end of this year and Brock was going cheap (ie reasonable salary and very late draft pick or free) it wouldn't be the worst idea I've ever heard.

I'm still of the firm belief that it's 2nd round or off to GWS / GCS for Jack. I'd be stunned if we used pick 3 on him.

If he's not rated in the top 5 we simply tell GWS and GCS we won't be picking. Pick the best player - it's that simple. If that means Jack Viney goes to another club then so be it. This attitude that we pick him regardless of his worth is plain wrong in my eyes. Surely Todd would want to avoid any accusations of nepotism. It's probably 2nd round or bust for him.

Forget about doing dodgy deals with GCS or GWS (ie the AFL). It won't happen. The best thing for us to do is play by the rules as they were intended. If they false bid they get him. Make it known that's how it will go down, take away their ability to bluff. If there are two stand outs we win by getting the stand out. Play by the rules.

It's a tricky situation but end of the day we've got to try and get him in the 2nd round. If we've engineered this "leak" or whatever then I applaud it and it is (in my mind) exactly what we should be doing. We must pick the best player and we must make it known that we will pick the best player. Todd will be understanding and is probably all over the planning. I'm hoping the draft order is fairly clearly established when the time come around because it will show up any false bids for Viney if he isn't considered top 3-4. Although it would be a [censored] for Todd and more importantly Jack I would [censored] myself if GWS false bid, we called their bluff and Jack went up there and in his 2nd year said he would put off all contract talk until the end of the year. Then nominate for the draft if GWS won't deal him to us reasonably and say you're not speaking to any other clubs a la Luke Ball and Collingwood and he slips to us for free in his prime. Won't happen but I can dream. Ideally everyone just plays fair and we get him second round. Unless GWS are totally mental (which could well be true) or induced by others clubs (which the AFL would crack down on right?!) then I can't see them false bidding if there are stand outs ahead of Viney.

The scumbag could only manage 6 more supercoach points than Mitch in over double the ground time today. Only about 6 kicks with 13 handballs and 74% effieicncy. He was very average after a good first quarter. $cully will be good but can't help but think that if we really nail these compo picks (?!) we've dodged a bullet paying this guy anywhere near $1m a year. I just don't understand why GWS would pay him that much. Better them than us though for sure.

Leave the chants to soccer imo, our game is too exciting for some sort of co-ordinated chanting.

No offence to the guy but I absolutely can't stand it and have told Cameron Schwab over twitter. Cringe worthy in the highest order. I would love to know our win/loss record since we started this terrible "tradition". If they have to do anything like this I'd rather see a different "act" each week attempt a cover of the song. That's IF we need to do this at all.....which we don't. I really, really, really don't like it.

I remember him having about 39 touches or something playing midfield in a praccy game at princess park one year. Through injury and some other reasons (Bailey) he never played there again nor has he under Neeld. He should hopefully play there more now. We've found new and so far fruitful positions for Watts, Garland and Grimes on the weekend. Good to see.

Just out of interest, is Carey still peddling that story about how all the Collingwood players hate Buckley or are they all in love again after 6 straight wins? He's gone fairly quiet on that one hasn't he.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE the bugler and hope he is basnihed forever. I don't see what he adds at all except the ability to totally deflate everyone right before the game. I actually find it down right embarrassing. Is there a way we can make sure he never returns?

This is just boring and sad now.

I don't understand why we suck so much.
