  1. That's wierd I thought $cully went up there and was instantly blown away by the facilities! Instantly! Because remember he hadn't signed anything and then went up there and BANG he was sold on the move! LOL, it's going to be a joy watching them get flogged every week.
  2. +1 Agree 1000%.
  3. Let's hope 2+2 doesn't equal 5.....or 6 or 7 in this instance.
  4. God it's been a long 5 years of being terrible, we really need to start seeing some results now. Members need a huge round of applause for not only sticking fat but joining in records numbers. Time to repay the faith I think, although I'm not overly hopeful for 2012.
  5. I don't think people are actually advocating anything in this thread though are they? I thought the point of the thread was to predict what will happen not what you want to happen.. I find deciding what I think and want to happen very difficult and I'm glad I'm not making the decision. All our potential leaders have question marks around them - Green (last year), Moloney (off field issues), Trenners (too young), Grimes (too injured). FWIW: I think they will go with C Green VC Moloney LG - Rivers, Grimes, Trengove, Jamar, Jones. Actually, I seriously have no idea at all. None.
  6. 31 goals thank you very much, let's not short change the sheer utter rubishness of that day. $#%&! Still angry about it.
  7. I think that's exactly what Mordja was highlighting.
  8. If I were thinking about Xbox option I'd probably wait until round 2 or 3 of the season to see how it all works and any type of feedback.
  9. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/tabid/8667/contentid/414627/default.aspx I've got no problem with Neeld naming players previously then not wanting to single anyone out for praise now. It's too early for praise. I didn't really see his Davey/Watts comments as a bad thing though, more just laying down a challenge to two players with tremendous upside compared to their output last year. Davey because he was basically horrible and Watts because he showed a lot before fading out a little bit in the end.
  10. Interesting thread. I reckon we'll see a lot of new tactics to beat the press this year. Hawthorn have tried and had reasonable success with the left foot short kicking off half back game plan. I wonder what we'll see from the dees..... I reckon by putting Davey forward we might see an attempt to try and catch our opposition on fast break type plays from kick-ins. I quite liked our double huddle set plays under Viney where we had two groups of players about 20m apart from a kick-in. With Davey and Jurrah in the second group providing short, sharp sprints towards goals we are going to score a lot of goals if we can execute.
  11. Yep, it's in the top five most horrible things I've seen in 2011. The other four being: 186, R6 vs West Coast, our last three quarters R8 vs North and the 88 point pounding from Collingwood R12.
  12. Edited for accuracy.
  13. $cumbag continues to lie about this whole disgusting saga: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/sos-says-dont-compare-giants-suns/story-e6frf9io-1226204582397 Seriously, if he doesn't come of the ground battered and bruised (fairly of course ; ) ) I will be absolutely livid with this club. What a total <insert whatever nasty word is acceptable that ends in "t"> this piece of work is.
  14. "He said Scully was underweight at 9kg." Had a chuckle at that!
  15. Very interesting. I quite like the part about him making it his life's ambition to destroy them, not so keen on the next line slaggin us off though. End of the day there is SFA he can do about it. I heard on 3aw a few weeks ago that Pendlebury's brother picked up a job at GWS not long ago. He has also signed just a one year contract ending this year so I would bet he is gone already. At least this filthly immoral club will now leave us alone and it's someone elses problem.
  16. How can Fill look at himself in the mirror each day? With a very big mirror I'd suggest......
  17. I think we'll remain silent on this one but I think we knew all about it a long time ago. Someone from the club would have spoken extensively to Schwarz about his three sources. No need to say anything but we must make it absolutely clear on the field how the club feels.
  18. http://www.sen.com.au/audioplayer/Audio/Michael-Warner-from-the-Herald-Sun/3482 For those interested.....
  19. Seriously, has the ALFPA had anything to say on this matter? I thought the TPP stood for "Total PLAYER Payments" not "Total Player and Fat Father Payments".
  20. Must have been a big session today. They were still training at 5:20pm tonight.
  21. It's time to face the facts rpfc. You were dudded by the little money grabber. We all were, just deal with it.
  22. The "I believe in Tom" crowd must SURELY be coming around the the fact that he signed long ago now. Surely.
  23. Went to New York for five days in September; purchased tickets to the Monday night football game Giants v Rams for $150 and Yankees game the next night for $19. Got to the Giants game an hour late and only missed the first quarter. Much better game on TV, I tape SNF and MNF and watch them fast forwarding between plays. Works well.
  24. Yeah why not? I can remember he was very highly rated from an endurance point of view during the draft. Surely some of his older sister's running ability has also been passed to him. There was a huge gap between the top three from what I could see so I would bet he'd be top 5 at the very least. We shall find out when he gets back from the Gold Coast next week.
