Port Adelaide v Melbourne NAB Cup Week 4
Harcourt replied to GawnWithTheWind's topic in Melbourne Demons
It's the best app out there imo. -
This is almost EXACTLY how I'm currently feeling. I had an email exchange with a mad and knowledgeable tigers supporter today - I said if I could get $5 on the tigers making the 8 that would be a good bet. He replied that I was basically smoking crack, should wait five weeks until they're 80-1 and that they're no chance whatsoever. Not sure what that says about us though.

Definitiely NOT sold but not unsold either.

I usually record the shows I like and listen to them later to skip the ads - easy as.

Liam Jurrah interview on Eddie Maguire 11/3/12
Harcourt replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
If anybody interviewed Alan Didak without Collingwood's permission during his gun slinging days Eddie would have gone absoutely ape $#$t. He seriously needs to pull his head in, I won't be watching his show again - it was awful anyway - I turned it off during the scumbag $cully "interview" - what a liar he is. -
Liam Jurrah: charged, on bail and discussion closed for now
Harcourt replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why would any lawyer be looking at a football club forum? "And now your honour I'd like to introduce exhibit A, a print out of the pure speculation and inane ramblings of a bunch of nutcases on demonland, an AFL forum" I'd reckon they will just stick with the actual witnesses to the case not people 5,000kms away who have NFI what they're talking about. -

Gerard Whateley is brilliant. Love his commentary, writing and work on AFL 360. -

Fingers crossed he's ok, get him out of there and back to Melbourne to sort out his issues. -

Could be back on Friday? http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/130309/default.aspx -
footywire.com.au I'd suspect.
-
Who do people think is the bigger concern out of Watts (#1) and Cook (#12)?
-
If you like skype and want to chat with randoms might I suggest chatroulette.com. That's if you like seeing people getting friendly with themselves every 3rd click.

There is no more annoying line in football than "it is always darkest before dawn". It is complete and utter bollock quite frankly and I've heard it from supporters of this club about a thousand times in the last five years.
-
You're only 20 hours behind breaking news and there is already a thread on this. He will be back in a week so relax. Slap some sense into Aussie? WTF are you talking about?
-
WTF. We supposedly had nearly everyone available for the intra club now our injury list is (according to 360): Grimes shoulder Trengove shin Clark knee Moloney sore Morton knee Spencer knee Strauss leg Gawn knee Jetta shoulder Jurrah wrist McKenzie anchilies Taggert back Tapscott hip Williams back Bring out your dead FCS.
-
Thank Christ for that. Hopefully this is his last injury in 2012 (and his career for that matter).
-
busted cheekbone - out for 6 weeks according to robbo on twitter. Will miss the mnatch vs demons.
-
My supercoach team is in ruins after today. Hopefully both Brown and Grimes are ok (although if Brown could miss Round 1 I wouldn't be comepletely devo'ed just quietly).
-
The Future Fund season launch is tonight - they sponsor Grimes, Watts and Garland so will be interesting to see if he attends. We should know more shortly after 6pm I'd imagine. Hopefully he's there and will be ok. Fingers crossed.
-
Geez I hope you're right.

Everyone has different opinions about sponsor's products but from an MFC POV, as long as this airline (if the rumours are true btw) is in business making a profit, I couldn't give two hoots if they're somebody's 4th, 5th or even millionth preferred travel option. If we had "Johny's Knockshop" as a major sponsor then I would understand we have "branding" issues but it's an airline FCS. I'm seriously hoping this one is true. There are so many marketing opportunities to be had. Articles in their in flight magazine for tourist from China who might want to take in an AFL game when visiting Melbourne perhaps?
-
If we can get this sponsor sorted and have a reasonable NAB cup then I think we've had a decent off season.
-
I saw this tweet this morning: . @melbournefc to announce China Southwest Airlines as jumper sponsor today according to MMM. from @givemethecure https://twitter.com/#!/givemethecure 6 hours ago. Not saying it's true just letting people know what I saw.

I couldn't care less if $cully reads it or not. The thread serves a great purpose. Don't like don't open it. VERY simple stuff.
