Meh. We have way more pressing needs. Like elite mids to support Viney, Clarry and Trac. And half backs to help our transition game. Houston and Cumming are still good ideas, Cumming is preferable given he only costs TPP.

TDK is a nice player, but I reckon they're going to shed a highly paid player soon. He's a difficult one, because they've already got two star forwards and a good ruckman, if I were them I'd be trying to turn TDK into another mid or even a Houston.

And the Blues still haven't win a flag for 30 years...

Lindsay seems super outside without elite disposal. He seems a good kick, but I can see why he's nowhere near the top 5, let alone top 10. I'd be staggered if he goes top 10, and would strongly believe it'd be a decision based on needs for the club that takes him.

A huge indictment. It's like the board have been hiding under their desks for 12 months. They've had plenty of time to think strategically about how to entice money out of various interests (state gov, fed gov, local gov etc), and come up with what? Kate had 11 years on the board for this very reason.

"Landing the club"? All they needed to do was accept the amendments Peter pushed and they would have saved those costs. Instead they weirdly dragged it through the courts and then accepted the majority of the changes, making the vast majority of the process redundant. Completely the board's fault.

I don't think Peter Lawrence is at fault. He merely wanted better governance and has spent years passionately and financially supporting the club. Both AFL and AFLW programs. By the end of the recent court proceedings, the board had accepted almost all of his requests. The club did not need to waste time and money, and undermine our brand. All they needed to do was accept the better governance positions in the first place. And weirdly, they didn't.

Disagree, but we'll leave it at that.
