What I meant was that we will add to our inside grunt again this off season and we should also be adding to our outside stocks. We need good ball users. And I'm certainly not happy with our midfield. It still needs two more off seasons.

That's not the point Chris is making though, OD. The argument that winning more games will get as away from playing games at SS is a load of crap. Carlton have had some horrible years and they never play down there. Carlton have the power. That goes directly to the injustice argument.

That's why it's usually better adding those players once you've got your inside, contested grunt. We have that now. We should be targeting these types now. I'd be going McKenzie at Gold Coast.

Given the guys that are coming back in, surely that's not it. Hogan injured his back last season. It takes time to build up the muscles after an injury like that.

I'm intrigued by Fitzy's fall from the team. Surely he's worth a game? Jordie won't offer us anything in the midfield. At least Fitzy might up forward or back. I dread to think of our forward structure this weekend. Doesn't make sense.

To be fair, I'm not sure this has been the message since Roos arrived. He, Taylor and Viney have gone about their business efficiently and quietly.

As far as I'm aware, the players get training on that sort of thing and are strongly advised not to read that stuff.
