Spencer is also really aggressive, which I like. I'd drop Dawes for this game.
-
I'm with you here, but I think we should play the two ruckman against West Coast. I'd consider bringing Dawesy back for the Essendon game. I think we have to be strategic in terms of our set up and take into account who our opposition is. As Roosy alluded to in his post match conference, the two rucks won't work every week, but I don't think we're any chance against West Coast unless we play two ruckmen. The following week we can go with Dawes or Pedo instead of Spencer.

Please explain, mate. Hope you're right. I'm just hoping we turn up. How's that for MFCSS?
-
Well, that's already happened really. We lost to St Kilda and beat Geelong in Geelong. I suspect this will happen again at least once this season.
-
Pretty average first seasons, IMO. Neither of them had the impact with possessions that Brayshaw has with a mere tackle.
-
I'd consider Newton outside at this stage. Otherwise, pretty much agree with the rest.
-
Agreed, mate. 6-8 wins. I will admit, I'd be disappointed now if we didn't get 8 though.
-
Midfieeeeeeeld.

Geelong didn't play a recognised ruckman. Good on you for being positive but we're on the way up off the canvas. Let's revisit this at the end of the year. Some of the hyperbole is kind of ridiculous.

It was interesting to note Jono Brown didn't agree with Healy. -

I'm watching it again now too. I'll be rewatching this one often I reckon. The thing I've noticed this year in Tyson's game is that he doesn't block or sheppard for team mates and in the most obvious of situations too. He needs to get better at this. His game was better than I thought watching it live though. -
The AFLPA have come out and said they wanted Gibbs banned on behalf of the players. SOURCE: On the Couch.

Ah, I thought it was Enright. Well, Kelly, you're a [censored]. -
Robbo mentioned it. Roos started off by insinuating they weren't that similar and then by the end of the conversation, he said there were similarities (to placate the drunk football writer).

Needed to go, just like his pathetic little man bun. Glad he was rubbed out. Need to stamp that stuff out. That was clearly two motions.

I don't remember anyone saying that. I certainly said his disposal needed to improve if he was going to make it. I stand by that, but I think he's improved it and continues to do so. EDIT. But don't get me wrong. I love him.

Wow. Some shockers again, HH.

Dunstall is great. Don't mind Brown either. The rest are hopeless though.

National Under 18 Championships - 2015

I reckon it will depend on who's available, but I'd say PR will want to get another one or two really good players in that 22-24 age bracket. -
I reckon Bernie's first three or four games for us were high 30 possession games.
-
Spot on, R. It was always going to be about quick ball movement, whether we could create a contest inside 50 and whether we could stop their run off half back.

That's the thing. Add someone like Prestia (who would be far more likely to view MFC as a viable destination come the end of the season) to Jones, Vince, Tyson, Viney, Brayshaw, Petracca and Salem. We are building something here. It won't be immediately obvious to the rest of the competition, but in two or three years time, Tyson, Viney, Brayshaw, Petracca and Salem will have played their 50-60 games and we'll really start to see them dominate other midfields. If Max and Jake can keep improving, we can then start to really add some depth to our squad. Then you've got a bloke called Jesse Hogan up forward. Seriously, we could have a couple of A graders on our hands for the first time in my 27 years. -

Just listened to his interview with SOS on the MFC website. Bloody hell. He speaks like a champ. A really good presenter. He and SOS both do actually. Really good heads on their shoulders, I reckon. Can't wait to see Petracca enter this mix and then whoever we pick up at the end of this year too. That's the thing.
