    Very interesting to hear that. Treloar is just as good as Shiel, IMO. I wonder what they're thinking. Have you heard whether it's in line with Shiel's deal?

    Agree, he offers us great defensive versatility. Can play on bigs or smalls. The way he dropped his head against the Hawks has stayed with me though. The FD would know whether he is scarred beyond repair. I'll back them on this.

    Get Jack McRae. Gun. Okay, so he might have defensive deficiencies, but they can be worked on. Absolute ball magnet. Luke hasn't been playing him much at the Dogs. We should be approaching him now with a nice little package.

    No, so what I did was pause the AFL site at the start of the last quarter and watched Jones' goal on the MFC website, then went back to the AFL site.

    We're playing a very different style of game plan to Port, whose high-risk, high-reward falls down when key players lose form. We're playing a hard fought contested game, but we're also very pretty to watch when we are attacking, particularly coast-to-coast on the slingshot. Roos is building a game style that will succeed in September. We just need to get the personnel right.

    Smoke and mirrors this. If it is true that Garland hasn't been offered a contract, we're playing things out like we did with Rivers, Frawley, Moloney and Sylvia. Basically saying to him, 'go and get a good offer to compensate us and you can play in a finals team'.

    The most annoying thing about watching it on the AFL site is that Jones' goal at the start of the last quarter is missed for some bizarre reason.

    I wouldn't be adversed to giving him another rest week, but totally happy either way.

    Yeah, doubt it. I want Roosy to stay on though mostly so we have him in our back pocket if Goody doesn't work out.

    Jetta would be better. He knows the Sydney systems. That's pretty much what we're doing. Reckon he could be a great pick up. Let me put this out there. Would you trade Howe for him? Every day of the week.

    Can't see Howe being here next year.

    Disagree. As a bigger bloke, he will probably need more time. At the very least, it's just as important that we are getting games into him too.

    Not to mention the disposal efficiency statistic is probably the most misleading and pointless stat going around. He does need to improve his game though and that's a decision making thing.

    Grimes is a depth player now, just as Matt Jones is. Handy back up, but an inherently flawed footballer.

    I would have thought those guys would qualify for the veteran list.

    Really like Col, but I have to agree, CB. JPK will be a little old for us now. Would only give us a max of 5 years. No thanks. I love the boldness of the 7 year deal though. Fantastic.

    Thought he was pretty complimentary of us in the four and a half replays I've watched.

    I did give it to him a bit the other day. We were in the front row and he got within metres of us a couple of times. Couldn't help myself. But good on him for going to the QB game. GWS will be the ones to beat if they can keep Shiel, Cameron and Treloar together.

    A couple of his hard ball gets were Swanesque, but what exactly is it that reminds you of Swan? He doesn't seem to have that burst of pace that Swan used to have. He has an eye for goal though, which I really like in a contested ball player.
