I am just curious. Do you guys think the club would have to pay for the replacement jumpers, or would New Balance supply them at no charge because of the defects?

My only interstate trip will be in round 4 against the Gold Coast.

That's got nothing to do with it. A member of the "younger generation" doesn't have a place at an AGM. In the same way the 70+ year old's at the AGM don't have a place at a young Demons supporter under 18 disco.

What Vlad is doing is hardly wrong - he is trying to expand the game into other sport heartlands, and you need a solid foundation to do that (otherwise you end up with Port). In saying that, other clubs are suffering from the propping up of other clubs. It's a catch-22 situation, and as a recipient of AFL handouts, we shouldn't be overly critical of other clubs being given a helping hand by the league.

The club has used the whole Air Jurrah thing before. I have a Jordan-esque Air Jurrah sticker on my car right now that I got from the club before last season. Surely other people did too?

Oh OK. So it's not a new mascot, it's just one for the kids.

I personally think the old clash with the demon on the front was too obvious. The club is opting for a more traditional guernsey design, and they are keeping things quite conservative. This helps to create a more consistent brand, as opposed to having a rather timid normal jumper as well as a jumper that has a massive demon on it.

Love it! Going to be the first jumper I'll be buying since 1997 (my current Melbourne jumper has gone from red to pink...) I guarantee we will be the first club to bring the collar back. You watch it come back over the years now. About time we set a trend.

OP - How old are you?

They will play finals in 2012. Wouldn't be surprised if they play them next year.

Sorry for your loss. And Ingerson was one of my favourite players growing up. Never did anything flashy, but always put the team first and was a great leader down back.
